Observation Of The Effect Of Treating Aged Patients With Community-acquired Pneumonia With Modified Decoction Of Six Noble

ObjectiveThis project observes the clinical effects of treating aged patients with community-acquired pneumonia with Modified Decoction of Six Noble Herbs (MDSNH), which provided effective basis for TCM treatment on aged patients with community-acquired pneumonia, and pull into high sensitive C-reactive protein to take effect assessment and give a further investigation of the effect and mechanism of TCM working on it.Methods1. Divide the60patients who are conformed to the inclusion criteria into A group and B group by simple random, each group has30patients. Treating A group with primary care of western medicine, and B group with Chinese medicinal granules besides primary care of western medicine, one course of treatment lasts for one week. Evaluate the patient on the day just before the treatment and the7th day of the treatment. The whole research includes random, single-blind, contrast and perspective clinical trail study.2. Take statistical analysis with SPSS11.5after the clinical observation Results1. After taking statistical analysis, there is no statistical significance of the difference between the basic data of the patients in the two groups including sex, age, the score of TCM symptoms before the treatment, leucocyte count and the score of chest roentgenogram, and there is comparability between the two groups.2. The symptoms, physical sign, luecocyte count, high sensitive C-reactive protein and inflammatory absorption improved after taking treatment in both of the two groups, and according to the score of TCM symptoms, there is statistical analysis in both of the two groups after taking treatment (P<0.05),and the effect in B group is better than that in A group, there is statistical significance of the difference (P<0.05)3. Compare the effect of the two groups,the cure rate in group A, the control group is30.00%, the apparent rate is33.33%, the effective rate is3.33%, the ineffective rate is13.33%, the total effective rate is86.67%; and the cure rate in group B, the treatment group is46.67%, the apparent rate is30.00%, the effective rate is16.67%, the ineffective rate is6.66%, the total effective rate is93.33%, after taking statistical analysi there is statistical significance of the difference between the total effective rate in the two groups (P<0.05)Conelusion1. There is good clinical effect both in the group of treating aged patien ts with community-acquired pneumonia with Modified Decoction of Six Noble Herbs and the group of primary care of western medicine.2. The clinical effect of the group of treating aged patients with communi ty-acquired pneumonia with Modified Decoction of Six Noble Herbs besides primary care of western medicine is better than the group just with prima ry care of western medicine.3、Treating aged patients with community-acquired pneumonia with Modified Decoction of Six Noble Herbs can reduce high sensitive C-reactive protein, which has relativity with the severity degree of aged patients with community-acquired pneumonia and has some effect for the patient’s condition assessment, and with the improvement of the condition, it reduces gradually.
