| BackgroundLower extremity deep vein phlebitis is one of the most common peripheral vein diseases. According to epidemiological study of the social development and the people living habits and other factors changing, deep phlebitis rate showed an upward trend, on the patients life quality produced great effect. Current treatment for the disease is western medicine therapy, but the clinical findings of a simple western medicine treatment are often difficult to achieve the ideal effect, and easy to repeated attacks, touching refractory. In view of such a situation, we combined Western medicine with external wash of Chinese medicine, to observe its curative effect.Object i vesTo observe curative effect of Chinese medicine plus Western medicine for lower extremity deep vein inflammation of patients with limb swelling degree and degree of pain relief effect, Evaluate the external wash of Chinese medicine clinical curative effect, its mechanism of action, as the deep Phlebitis Treated with traditional Chinese medicine to provide new method and train of thought.Methods42patients (421imbs) who were brought into this research to the selection criteria of lower extremity deep vein phlebitis were randomly divided into treatment (22cases22limbs) and contrast group (20cases20limbs). The two groups have no significant differences in the ratio of men to women, age and duration. On the clinical materials of42patients were included in a prospective study, the contrast group was given a simple western medicine treatment, the treatment group based on the western medicine treatment was given external wash of Chinese medicine treatment for15days. After15days to observe the patients with limb swelling degree and degree of pain relief. Create database, and used SPSS17.0to carry on statistical analysis, statistical method comprises:independent samples t test, chi-square test, rank sum test.ResultsAfter15days treatment, in treatment group4cases were cured,9cases were effective,9cases were improved, the total effective rate was100%; the control group2cases were cured,7cases were effective,6cases were improved, the total effective rate was75%. After statistical processing, found in the treatment group clinical efficacy rate was better than that of control group (P<0.05). Patients with limb swelling degree and degree of pain relief was obviously better than the control group (P<0.05).ConclusionExternal wash of Chinese medicine treatment of lower extremity deep vein phlebitis had obvious curative effect, mild persistent, no side effects, patient compliance was good.
