ObjectivesTo objective the kidney and activating blood on bone metabolism in patiets with postmenopausal osteoporosis.Methods59postmenopausal women with osteoporosis were enrolled, who were randomly divided into2groups according to30:29ratio.the experimental group was given Calcitrio10.25ug、Bone Song-capsule4pills and Catrate D600, the control group was given Calcitrio10.25ug、alendronate sodiumlpill and Caltrate D600. All of the patients were received singe blind treatment for2months.ResultsAt the2th months,the change of bone biochemical markers was significance, resoectively in experimental group and control group.2months later, the PINP in experimental group was decreased40%(P<0.05),CTX in experimental group was decreased52%(p<0.05), N-MID in experimental group was decreased54%(p<0.05), ALP in experimental group was decreased7%(p<0.05). There was no new spine bone fracture in lateral projection of lumbar vertebrate and thoracic vertebrae in two group, While there was no bone fracture in other site. No serious adverse effects were observed during the trial.ConclusionKidney and Activating Blood inhibit bone resorption and increase bone formation. It has less adverse effects. It is a desirable prophylactic and treatment drug of osteoporosis in post menopausal women...
