Objective:To study the characteristics of bone metabolism level in han and uygur nationality postmenopausal women in Xingjiang Uruqi area. Methods: To choose 358 postmenopausal women of han and uygur, measuring BMD and Ca , P ,BAP,BGP,TRACP-5b,25-(OH)VD3 in serum and divided into normal density group,bone loss group and osteoporosis group according to the BMD and compared. Results: In 3 groups of each ethnic group, by single factor analysis of variance , two peoples was statistically significant in age,age of menopause, and BGP,TRACP-5b BAP. (P < 0.01)and in each ethnic group, the measurements of BGP, BAP TRACP-5b were increased with the decrease of BMD; In the same group , two nationalities were statistically significant in BGP, 25-(OH)VD3, The measurements of 25-(OH)VD3 of Uygur ethnic was significantly lower than that of Han ethnic groups (P<0.01), and the measurements of BGP was higher than that of Han ethnic groups(P<0.05). Conclusion: In 3 groups of each ethnic group,BGP, BAP , TRACP-5b can reflect difference of postmenopausal women in bone metabolism level, as postmenopausal osteoporosis earlier detection indexes.Uygur women and Han women may exist differences in vitamin D metabolism and affect bone metabolism.
