As organic functional compounds, the sulfur-rich compounds such as tetrathiafulvalene (shorter form TTF) and its derivatives get wide attention. In recent years, reports about the synthesis and properties of such compounds are emerging endlessly. The research of organic hybrid materials, which are formed by the combination of TTF derivatives organic electron donors containing dual-functional groups and transition metal ions, have become one of the hot spots in the field of organic functional materials. Because the pyridine has super coordination ability and varied coordination forms, and most of the pyridine complexes are relatively stable, therefore, people have maintained a keen interest in the study of these complexes. But the research of double-TTF which contains pyridine groups is also rare, based on this, this thesis is composed of the following content aspects:A The summary part briefly introduces the properties and research progress of the TTF derivatives, and it describes the research progress of double-TTF and the research status of TTF-Py derivatives which have redox function and super coordination function with transition metal.B3kinds of double-TTF derivatives which contain pyridine groups have been synthesized, meanwhile they have been characterized.C In the progress of experiment,I also obtained two single crystal structures of intermediate compounds, and made an in-depth study on its structure and properties. By cyclic voltammetry, I have analyzed the electrochemical properties of the interaction between TTF derivatives above-mentioned and metal ions of Ag+, Zn2+and Cu2+in the solution. The research of these aspects have laid a foundation for the continuing explorations of double-TTF and its derivatives.
