Objective:To evaluate the diagnostic value and clinical significance of the detection of P53antibody and U1-AsnRNP (small nuclear ribosomalprotein U1-A) antibody to NSCLC.Methods:Forty-six patients with NSCLC were tested for P53antibodies and U1-AsnRNP antibodies by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), Forty-three healthy persons were recruited as controls.Results:(1)The concentration of serum P53antidbody in patients was obviously higher than the concentration of control group [25.38ng/ml (65.69ng/ml) and10.45ng/ml (10.44ng/ml)]. There was statistic significant difference between the two groups (P=0.000).(2)The concentration of serum Ul-AsnRNP antidbody in patients was165.57U/L (104.51U/L), and it was170.05U/L (74.12U/L) in control group. There was no statistic significant difference between the two groups (P=0.715).(3)ROC curve analysis was done in order to evaluate their diagnostic value to NSCLC, which showed the area under the ROC curve(AUC) of P53antibody and U1-AsnRNP antibody were71.7%and47.8%. P53antibody sensitivity and specificity of diagnosis to NSCLC were62.2%and79.1%, respectively.Conclusions:(1)The P53antibody for the diagnosis of NSCLC demonstrated good sensitivity and specificity, and the decection of serum P53antibody has important clinical significance in diagnosis of NSCLC.(2) The Ul-AsnRNP antibody has poor value in diagnosis of NSCLC.
