Objective:To explore the feasibility of CT perfusion of gastric carcinoma using Multi-slice CT (MSCT) scanner and to evaluate the value of CT perfusion parameters in preoperative assessment of stomach cancer. Methods:MSCT perfusion imaging was preoperatively performed in67patients with gastric carcinoma confirmed by gastroscope. The CT hemodynamic parameters in regions of interest (ROI) including blood flow (BF), blood volume (BV), mean transit time (MTT) and permeability surface (PS) were measured.1Several groups were divided according to the differentiation degree of tumor cells, TNM staging, pathology staging, the metastasis of the lymph node and distant metastasis, and the relationship of the perfusion parameters of gastric cancer in different groups were investigated. r2Analysis the relationship between perfusion parameters of primary gastric cancer and transfer lymph node of gastric cancer.Results:1There:was significant difference of PS value not only between patients with and without lymphatic involvement(P<0.05),but also in differentiation degree(P<0.05),TNM staging(P<0.05),pathology staging(P<0.05) and distant metastasis(P<0.05). However MTT value revealed no significant correlation with some factors above(P>0.05).2BV and BF value had the relationship with the TNM staging(P<0.05). BF value also had difference in different pathology staging.3However the differences of MTT of the three groups have no statisticalsignificance(P>0.05). the differences of BV of the TNM staging have statistical significance(P<0.05),the differences of BF of the TNM staging have statistical significance(P<0.05),the differences of BF of pathology staging also have statistical significance.Conclusion:1The PS is the most significant parameter index of all perfusion parameters, have higher accuracy rate of judging differentiated degree,TNM staging, pathologic staging of gastric cancer, and is of great value in clinical application.2MSCT perfusion imaging could reflect the hemodynamic changes of gastric cancer, They provide important clinical significance to preoperative evaluation and combined therapy. Therefore, CT perfusion imaging is an original and non-invasive functional imaging method to evaluate bloodstream perfusion of tissue and organ.
