In order to keep person’s health, it is important to maintain body’s glucose concentration level in a normal level. This is because lots of medical complication can be triggered by abnormal blood glucose concentration and brings damage to patient. Currently, patients are recommended to monitor their blood glucose level by invasive way, the biggest drawback of this method is blood sample acquisition, unable to monitor blood glucose concentration in a continuous and online way. This invasive method will inevitably bring patient pain and even cause the infection spread of some fluid infectious diseases。Therefore, it is necessary to design a non-invasive blood glucose monitoring system, which can overcome these drawbacks in invasive ways. This paper proposed a new method for noninvasive blood glucose monitoring—distributed NIR multi-wavelength blood glucose monitoring system. The advantage of this method relies on the application of multi-wavelength laser diodes array in blood glucose monitoring, this can avoid the defect of insufficient useful blood glucose information absorption by using single wavelength. This paper applied a new idea of distributed measurement sites in blood glucose measurement, which can overcome the light interference between multi-wavelength at one site and improve the prediction accuracy; in addition, a non-linear modeling strategy of BP neural network was used in my system for multi-information fusion.Lastly, aims to continuous monitoring of blood glucose concentration, a couple of blood glucose prediction calibration models according to the combinations of three wavelengths, which can realize information fusion from multi-window blood glucose absorption peaks, reducing the information error because of the overlap absorption between blood glucose and other components. Meanwhile, the operation mode can be controlled to make each channel to work one after another, this can avoid the risk of laser diodes damage because of long time continuous work. The experiment in this paper can be divided into two parts—glucose solution monitoring model experiment and non-invasive blood glucose measurement experiments. A total of200sample set and142sample sets are obtained in those two experiments respectively. In the non-invasive blood glucose measurement test, the RMSEP of calibration model is0.088mmol/L and CC is0.94when compared with commercial blood glucose meter, the results show that the prediction accuracy and precise have improved greatly when compared to previous blood glucose measurements methods. Therefore, this system has application value and scientific significance to the research of noninvasive blood glucose concentration research in the future.
