Aims Research to compare the surgical instruments cleaning effects and to compare the four methods of testing instruments cleaning effects.Methods purposely contaminate the clean surgical hemostatic forceps with discarded whole blood, randomly pick30-35hemostatic forceps from the group of15minutes of contamination and the group of4hours and10hours of contamination to be cleaned, then test the effects of the cleaning.Results after cleaning of the group of hemostatic forceps from15minutes of contamination, used the rectify visual acuity method, ATP biological fluorescence, surface protein-high sensitivity testswabs method, and occult blood dipstick to test the cleaning effects, the positive rates were31.25%,0%,0%, and96.88%; after cleaning of the group of hemostatic forceps from4hours of contamination, used the same four methods, the positive rates were30.30%,33.33%,0%, and96.97%. after cleaning of the group of hemostatic forceps from10hours of contamination, used the same four methods, the positive rates were93.75%,100%.46.88%,90.63%,Conclusion the above four methods to test the surgical instruments cleaning effects have each own focus, which should be used selectively.
