Cervical cancer is one of the most common tumors in women, which is thehighest incidence of female reproductive system tumors in China. The previousstandard treatment for cervical cancer is radiotherapy, radiotherapy techniquesand equipment are better than before, but not been able to significantly improvethe survival rate of patients. The main failures of reasons are local recurrence ordistant metastasis. Therefore, concurrent chemoradiotherapy of cervical cancerbecomes more and more valued.Using the method of evidence-based medicine,meta-analysis about the efficiency and security in different chemotherapyregimens of concurrent chemoradiotherapy for cervical carcinoma. Objective: The objective is to compare the efficiency and security indifferent chemotherapy regimens of concurrent chemoradiotherapy for cervicalcarcinoma. To seek a reasonable solution, improve the survival rate, reduce thetoxicity and side effects; improve the quality of patients’ lives. Methods: A systematic search of the Cochrane library,Medline,Pubmed,Chinese academic journal network full-text database and Chinese biomedicineliterature database,VIP,Wanfang, screening a total of23of the publishedliteratures in the standards-compliant between January1999to December2011.By comparing the efficiency and security between two single chemotherapydrugs, betwween two chemotherapy drug combinations and single chemo-therapy drug, betwween three chemotherapy drug combinations and twochemotherapy drug combinations, using the statistical methods of RevMan4.2.2to meta-analysis and selecting a reasonable solution.Outcome:23randomized controlled trials were identified and incorpor-ated into the study,a total of2889cases of cervical cancer patients.Research quality assessment of Grade B15,Grade C8.Meta analytical results are shown:compare cisplatin with nedaplatin, the efficiency is quite, but renal function ofcisplatin was often appear;compare cisplatin with taxane, there was nodifference in efficiency, but bone marrow suppression and gastrointestinalreactions of cisplatin were often appear; compare cisplatin+fluorouracil withsingle medicine(hydroxyurea/cisplatin/nedaplatin),the efficacy and side effectswere no significant differences; compare cisplatin+taxane with cisplatin, cisplatin combined with taxane can increase the effective rate, side effects wereno significant difference between two programs;compare cisplatin+fluorouracilwith cisplatin+taxane, the efficacy and side effects were no significantdifferences;compare the three-drug combination which contain cisplatin withthe two-drug combination which contain cisplatin, side effects were nosignificant differences.Conclusion:1.In a single chemotherapy drug program, there was no different inefficiency of nedaplatin, taxane, cisplatin, but the side effects bone marrowsuppression, gastrointestinal reactions and renal function of cisplatin were oftenappear;2.Joint program of the two drugs, cisplatin+taxane can increase theefficiency than cisplatin only, the side effects were no significant increased;3.There were no significant difference in side effects between thethree-drug combination which contain cisplatin and the two-drug combinationwhich contain cisplatin;4. Two-drug regimen containing cisplatin was the optimized solution.
