Objective:To confirm the models of bilateral dCST and bilateral RST injury models which made by us. To viewing the initial differential of brain histology through Nissl’s staining and immunohistochemistry.when different evolutionary spinal cord tracts acute are injuring in rats.Materials and Methods:Self-made blade was used to modify and establish the models of bilateral dCST, RST injury of cervical spinal cord. The injured spinal cords were taken for observation of the ethology changes by Basso Beattie And Bresnahan Score, and neuronal tract tracing by Biotin Dextran Amine (BDA) antcrograde neuronal tracing technique. Eighteen Sprague-Dawley rats were divided randomly into live groups:bilateral dCST injury group-2week(n=3),bilateral dCST injury group-3week (n=3).bilateral RST injury group-2week (n=3), bilateral RST injury group-3week (n=3) and sham operation group (n=3).The sham operation group had been bad an operation of laminectomy.The other our groups of rats were in accurate injury of dorsal corticospinal tract or rubrospinal tract.All groups of rats were sacrificed by formaldehyde perfusion through ascending aorta and injury specimens of brain were procured at2w or3w after surgery. Then we made the frozen section and got the result by Nissl’s staining and immunohistochemistry.The date were analyzed by SPSS software.Result:The neuronal tract tracing by BDA display that dorsal corticospinal Tract and rubrospinal tract were cut-off completely.It’s meaning of the success models. As compared with bilateral dCST injury group.the bilateral RST injury groups had the lesser number of Neural cell apopotosis at the point of2w3w and the more number of positive Neural cel about ubulin-α. GAP-43. But all groups injured had a lesser date than the control group.Conclusion:histology or brain differences were detected between RST and dcst whose evolution degrees were different at the time of2w3w after injury.As compared with dilateral dcst injury group.the lteral RST injury groups were easier to repair.It is may be many factors here affecting neuronal repair after spinal cord injury and deserves further research.
