Effects Of Health Education On Art Students’ Cognition And Wearing Behaviors About SCL

[Objective] To investigate the application of soft contact lens (SCL) among art students,analysis the cognition and wearing habits of the art students who are wearing soft contact lens, and investigate the effects of health education on improving cognition and wearing behaviors.[Methods](1)The research selected271art students of Guangxi Art College, investigated the myopia morbidity and the application of soft contact lens among art students.(2)Make two sets of questionnaires for82art students wearing SCL to investigate how their cognition and wearing behaviors go before and after a series of health education.(3)The data using statistical software SPSS13.0descriptive analysis and χ2-test.[Results](1)The myopia morbidity of art students is61.62%, and the SCL wearing rate is31.73%;(2) The rate of the correct cognition of comparing group after being interfered is the same, which has no statistical significance.(P>0.05), except the choice of checking-up regularly; The rate of the correct cognition of interfering group after being interfered is improved evidently, which has statistical significance.(P<0.05).(3) The rate of the correct cognition of comparing group and interfering group is the same, which has no statistical significance.(P>0.05); The rate of the correct cognition of interfering group after being interfered is higher than comparing group evidently, which has statistical significance.(P<0.05).(4) The rate of the correct wearing behaviors of comparing group after being interfered is the same, which has no statistical significance (P>0.05); The rate of the correct wearing behaviors of interfering group after being interfered is improved evidently, The result indicates that there are four differences including washing fingers with cleaning solution before wearing SCL, which has statistical significance.(P<0.05).(5) The rate of the correct wearing behaviors of comparing group and interfering group is the same, which has no statistical significance.(P>0.05); The rate of the correct wearing behaviors of interfering group after being interfered is higher than comparing group evidently, The result indicates that there are five differences including cutting nails before wearing SCL, which has statistical significance.(P<0.05).[Conclusion](1)The myopia morbidity of art students is less than national university students, but the SCL wearing rate exceeds other university students.(2)Health education has a great influence on improving the SCL cognition of art students wearing SCL.(3) Health education is also important to rectify the false wearing behaviors.(4)In order to prevent and reduce the appearance of complications, it is necessary to find other effective measures to publicize related medical knowledge about SCL for college students.
