Objective:To explore the distribution Types of TCM of people with primary dyslipidemia by questionnaire survey, select the largest distribution physical type which were yin-yang harmony and damp-heat constitution, analysis the association between the two types of TCM of Apolipoprotein E(ApoE) polymorphism.Methods:1.Wang Qi who was the professor of Chinese Medicine University of Beijing,he standard9kinds of TCM constitution classification scale. By using the TCM constitution types of questionnaire to the people who come to have health examination in Medical University First Affiliated Hospital Medical Center of Guangxi in May to October,2010.Reference " TCM constitution classification standards" for the scale conversion, using the maximum score method determines individual constitution type. Using the bar code query results of physical examination, referring to" primary lipid disorders diagnostic criteria", choose the people with primary dyslipidemia, analysis the distribution Types of TCM and the basic situation.2.30cases of damp-heat constitution of dyslipidemia (experimental group) and30cases of yin-yang harmony constitution of dyslipidemia (control group) were chosen, using the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method and gene sequencing techniques for the frequency detection of ApoE genotypes and allele, analysis the association between the two Types of TCM and ApoE gene polymorphism.Results:1.The distribution Types of TCM of335cases people with primary dyslipidemia:The yin-yang harmony type in118cases (35.22%), damp-heat in56cases (16.72%), quality deficiency in40patients (11.94%), phlegm in31cases (9.25%), Yang and quality in27cases (8.06%), qi quality in26cases (7.76%), bleeding mass in19cases (5.67%), quality deficiency in13cases (3.88%), special intrinsic quality in5cases (1.49%).2.There were gender differences among the distribution of the TCM constitution types of the335cases people with primary dyslipidemia by chi-square:in186male patients, mainly in the yin-yang harmony type, accounted for83/186(44.62%),biased constitution was damp-heat type, accounted for22.58%(42/186),followed by phlegm-wetness type(12.37%,23/186),yin deficiency matter (10.75%,20/186), Qi-stagnation constitution (4.84%,9/186),and Qi quality (3.23%,6/186), blood stasis matter (1.08%,2/186), the intrinsic quality of special (0.54%,1/186),0of Yang-deficiency constitution. While female patients mainly was mainly in the yin-yang harmony type, accounted for35/149(23.49%), biased constitution was Yang mainly quality, accounted for18.12%, Yin matter accounted for13.42%,stasis matter and Qi-stagnation constitution both accounted for11.41%, damp-heat constitution accounted for9.40%,phlegm,Qi quality quality and intrinsic quality accounted for only12.75%.3. We can detect five genotype in damp-heat group: ε2/ε3,ε2/ε4,ε3/ε3,ε3/ε4,ε4/ε4, frequency of them were10%,10%,36.66%,16.67%,26.67%;while four genotype in yin-yang harmony group were deceted: ε2/ε3,ε2/ε4,ε3/ε3,ε3/ε4,frequency of them were13.33%,6.67%,66.67%,13.33%. In damp-heat group,ε3/ε3genotypes is the most, followed by ε4/ε4genotypes; In yin-yang harmony group,ε3/ε3genotypes is also the most, followed by ε2/ε3,ε3/ε4genotype. We couldn’t detect ε2/ε2genotypes in damp-heat group or yin-yang harmony group. Frequency of ApoE allele ε2,ε3and ε4,in damp-heat group was10.00%,50.00%,40.00%,while yin-yang harmony group was10.00%,80.00%,10.00%.4.The damp-heat group and the yin-yang harmony group ApoE six gene and ApoE three allele distributions are different, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The damp-heat group ApoE genotype ε4/ε4frequency was significantly higher than that of yin-yang harmony group(%2=9.231, P<0.05);ε3/ε3frequency was significantly lower than that of the yin-yang harmony group (χ2=5.406, P<0.05). And ε2/ε3, ε2/ε4, ε3/ε4distribution difference does not have statistical significance (P>0.05). The damp-heat group ApoE allele frequency was higher than that of the yin-yang harmony group s4(x2=7.200,P<0.05); with the ε3frequency was significantly lower than that of yin-yang harmony group (χ2=5.934, P<0.05), the difference was statistically significant.Conclusion:1.The top three biased constitution were damp-heat, yin asthenia and phlegm-dampness of the people with primary dyslipidemia in Guangxi. The damp-heat constitution was the highest biased constitution of the people with primary dyslipidemia in Guangxi.2.There were gender differences among the distribution of the TCM constitution types of the people with primary dyslipidemia.The male mainly were substantive constitution, such as constitution of damp-heat and phlegm-dampness. The female mainly were deficient constitution, such as constitution of yang asthenia and yin asthenia.3. The distributions of ApoE genotype and allele were different on the constitution of yin-yang harmony and constitution of damp-heat of the people with primary dyslipidemia.ApoE gene ε4/ε4and allele ε4had more obvious tendency of damp-heat constitution, maybe more easy to form damp-heat constitution of dyslipidemia or more odds of association with damp-heat constitution of dyslipidemia.ApoE gene ε3/ε3and allele ε3had more obvious tendency of yin-yang harmony constitution, maybe more easy to form yin-yang harmony constitution of dyslipidemia or more odds of association with yin-yang harmony constitution of dyslipidemia.
