Objective To investigate the expression and significance of CXCR4and VEGF,as well as their correlations in Nephroblastoma and to explore the clinical signifivance. Methods The expression of CXCR4and VEGF in10cases of normal kidney tissue and30samples of Nephroblastoma tissue selected with complete clinicopathological data were studied by SABC immunohistochemistry. Results The expression rate of CXCR4and VEGF in normal kidney tissue were lower (30.0%,20.0%), The expression rate of CXCR4and VEGF in Nephroblastoma were higher (66.67%,73.33%), The difference between them was significant (χ2=4.126, χ2=8.889, P<0.05). The expression rate between CXCR4and VEGF in different clinical stages, histological type and metastasis of Wilms’ tumor tissue was statistically significant(χ2=5.301,χ2=4.014,χ2=4.104, P<0.05). The expression of CXCR4and VEGF in Nephroblastoma was significantly positively correlated (r=0.392, P<0.05)。Conclusions CXCR4and VEGF are highly expressed in Nephroblastoma. CXCR4and VEGF may be served as the valuable markers to estimate the development and metastasis of Nephroblastoma.
