Objective:To observe the effect of Modified Xuefuzhuyu decoction on NO, Ang Ⅱ content in serum, left ventricular mass index(LVWI) and film thickness in the thoracic aorta, and Investigate vascular remolding of hypertensive rat.Methods: First to establish the hypertensive rat model,Improve WVK hypertensive rat models, Thirty-two male model rats were divided into four groups at random with8rats in each group:Modified Xuefuzhuyu decoction group,Captopril group, two medicine associations use group,model control group,compared with eight congeneric male Wistar. Rats in each group after8weeks were sacrificed, blood and tissue,Blood pressure, left ventricular mass index(LVWI), the tunica media of thoracic aorta,NO and Ang Ⅱ content in serum were tested.Results:1.The serum NO:Comparison with the control group, model control group decreased significantly (P<0.01), Modified Xuefuzhuyu decoction group and two medicine associations use group were significantly higher (P<0.01). A slight increase in the captopril group (P>0.05), Each treatment group serum levels of NO compared with the model group were significantly increased (P<0.01)2.The serum Ang Ⅱ:Model control group were significantly higher than that of control (P<0.01), Each treatment group compared with the model control group were significantly lower(P<0.01). The two drugs were the lowest, with no significant difference between the control group (P>0.05)3.Film thickness comparison of rats thoracic aorta and LVWI:Model control group were significantly higher than that of control (P<0.01), Each treatment group compared with the model control group were significantly lower (P<0.01)Conclusion:Modified Xuefuzhuyu decoction could increase hypertensive rats serum NO, reduction of serum Ang Ⅱ,reduce the film thickness thoracic aorta and LVWI.There is no significant antihypertensive effect, However, the combination of captopril can effectively inhibit the hypertensive rat vascular remodeling, its effect is superior to captopril alone, which provides a theoretical basis for the development of Chinese medicine to prevent hypertensive vascular remodelin.
