Objective: To study the expression and relation of anti-survivin antibody andNSE in the blood serum of the patients with lung cancer. And discuss the clinicalsignificance of anti-survivin antibody and NSE in the diagnosis of lung cancer.Methods:55samples of blood serum of lung cancer were collected.25collectedsamples were early stage and30samples were mid and late stage. Another20samplesof blood serum of lung benign lesions were used as control group. All collectedsamples were determined by ELISA method (Human anti-survivin antibody/survivalprotein ELISA Kit and Human NSE ELISA Kit).Results:1. The serum concentration of anti-survivin antibody between the group of lungcancer and benign lesion were41.08±22.70ng/L and10.12±2.13ng/L (t=6.063,P<0.05). The serum concentration of NSE between the group of lung cancer andbenign lesion were2.54±1.13μg/L and1.03±0.56μg/L (t=5.697, P<0.05).2. The serum concentration of anti-survivin antibody in middle-late stage lungcancer group (56.15±20.66ng/L) was significantly higher than the group of early lungcancer (22.99±4.34ng/L)(t=7.870, P<0.05).The serum concentration of NSE inmiddle-late stage lung cancer group (2.61±1.18μg/L) has no significantly differencecompared with the group of early lung cancer (2.46±1.09μg/L)(t=0.446, P>0.05).3. The serum concentration of anti-survivin antibody in different pathologicaltype as follows: lung squamous cell carcinoma group51.51±23.61ng/L, lungadenocarcinoma group40.31±20.44ng/L, small cell lung cancer group22.51±5.31ng/L.The serum concentration of anti-survivin antibody in the non-small cell lung cancergroup was significantly higher than small cell lung cancer group (P<0.05).4. The serum concentration of NSE in different pathological type in the serum oflung cancer as follows: lung squamous cell carcinoma group2.45±0.88μg/L, lungadenocarcinoma group1.99±1.09μg/L, small cell lung cancer group3.30±1.25μg/L. The serum concentration of NSE in small cell lung cancer group was higher than non-small cell lung cancer group (lung adenocarcinoma group and lung squamous cellcarcinoma group)(P<0.05).5. The positive rate of anti-survivin antibody in the blood serum of the patientswith lung cancer was38.2%(21/55), which is higher than the lung benign pathologicalgroup5.0%(1/20)(P<0.05) obviously; The positive rate of anti-survivin antibody indifferent pathology type as follows: lung squamous cell carcinoma group46.2%(12/26), adenocarcinoma group46.7%(7/15), small cell lung cancer group14.3%(2/14); The positive rate of anti-survivin antibody in early stage (Ⅰstage) was20.0%(5/25) and in mid and late stage (Ⅱ-Ⅳstage)53.3%(16/30).6. The positive rate of NSE in the lung cancer blood serum is36.4%(20/55)higher than the lung benign pathological change group10.0%(2/20),(P<0.05)obviously; The positive rate of different pathology type as follows: lung squamous cellcarcinoma group26.9%(7/26), adenocarcinoma group26.7%(4/15), small cell lungcancer group64.3%(9/14); The positive rate of NSE in early stage (Ⅰstage) was12.0%(3/25) and in mid and late stage (Ⅱ-Ⅳstage) was56.7%(17/30).Conclusion:1. Expressions of anti-survivin antibody and NSE in the blood serum of lungcancer were significantly higher than the lung benign lesion group, having guidesignificance in the diagnosis of lung cancer.2. There are more meaningful for anti-survivin antibody in the diagnosis of non-small cell lung cancer, and NSE in the diagnosis of small cell lung cancer. The uniteddetection can improve the sensitivity of diagnosis in the lung cancer. It has the favor ofthe diagnosis of pathological classification and clinical stage of lung cancer.3. There is no significant correlation in the serum expression of between anti-survivin antibody and NSE in lung cancer (r=0.009, P>0.05); Maybe there is not allthe same of mechanism between anti-survivin antibody and NSE in patients with lungcancer.
