| Objective To study the effect of prostatic inflammation on prostate-spacific antigen(PSA) level in the serum of the patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).Methods71patients with benign prostate hyperplasia were treated with thetransurectal resection of the prostate. All patients were diagnosed by B-ultrasonography,CT or MRI before operation, and confirmed of benign prostatic hyperplasia bypathology after operation. Preoperative assessment project including: age〠the prostategland volume〠serum PSA〠residual urine volume〠the biggest urine flow rate〠thequality of life (QoL) scoreã€international prostate symptoms score (IPSS)ã€urine whiteblood cellsã€serum creatinine number and postoperative pathological diagnosis. Weanalyzed if the postate gland periphera linflammationã€gland inflammation and matrixinflammation would affect serum prostate specific antigen concentration. Results age, volume, matrix inflammation, urinary tract infections can elevated serumPSA, P value is less than0.05.Conclusion1Stromal inflammation values affect serum specifically antigen and apositive correlation.2Gland inflammation, glandular peripheral inflammatory serumapecific antigen value was no significant.3Age,prostate volume affect serum specificantigen values and a positive correlation. |
