Objective:Guantitative analysis of the south of the country adult knee specimens, observatethe anterior cruciate ligament(ACL)femoral attachment’s size and area, and theirrelative spatial location of the surrounding structure and the intercondylar notch.Toexplore the significance of these measured values of the anterior cruciate ligamentreconstruction.Materials and Methods:12cases of fresh frozen adult knee specimens. With a vernier caliper measure thefemoral attachmen diameter d1, the short diameter d2and ACL and far condyle, theposterior condylar distance d3, d4, attachment center of the femur resulting from overthe top: d5. measure the femur attachment to over the top connection with the femurvertical axis on the sagittal angle (α1) by Protractor, the long axis of the femurattachment and the longitudinal axis of the femur’s angle (α2). Measure the clockwiseposition in the intercondylar notch of the ACL femoral attachment’s center. Measurethe clockwise position in the intercondylar notch of the ACL femoral attachment’scenter. Converse the actual area of the ACL femoral attachment’s area by photoshopsoftware. The measured values are mean±SD/SEM of the number of persons said.Press about “men and women”and“left and right”as the grouping variable wereanalyzed statistically.Results:1.Anatomical feature of the ACL femoral attachmentWith the knee flexion and extension movement, can be seen from the side theACL along its rotation, the ACL femoral attachment’s shape is mail to oval, the edgeclose to the cartilage of the distal and posterior edge.2.the ACL attachment of the measurement results12specimens, the ACL femoral attachment measurement results are as follows: d1:(15.34±1.15) mm;d2:(7.77±1.08) mm;d3:(5.55±0.62) mm;d4:(3.57±0.46) mm;d5:(12.19±1.06) mm;α1:(31.40±4.77)°;α2:(25.93±7.87)°;S:(95.70±9.28)mm2;Dial clock positioning the femur attachment center of T: leftknee1:44±6.32’, the right knee was10:18±7.58’. The statistical analysisshows:ACL femoral attachment’s area, major axis, minor axis and far condylarcartilage distance, the distance from the center of the femur attachment to “over thetop”. the gender difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). other measuredvalues, men and women between the two groups no significant(P>0.05). Themeasured values of differences of right and left sides was not significant(P>0.05).Conclusion:1. With the knee flexion and extension movement, the ACL Rotates along its own.2.ACL’s femoral attachment center and over the top’s location constant, we can useover the top as a reference to locate femoral attachment center.3.With using the clockwise method to posit the ACL femoral attachment’s center, canusing the distance to the cartilage edge to limit the attachment depth in the notch.4.Application of Photoshop software, can more accurately measure the area of thefemoral attachment, practical and inexpensive.
