Objectives: To explore the clinical features of senile severe acute pancreatitis,improvi-ng the level of treatment measures. Methods:Retrospective analysis was made on theClinical data of97cases of severe acute pancreatitis from January2007to Jsnuary2012in First Affiliated Hospital of Fujuan Medical University, who were divided intotwo group with age. There were47cases in senile group(≥60years old) and50casesin non-senile group(<60years old). The clinical data of senile group compared withthose of non-senile group.Results:①The group SAP a total of97cases, the elderly accounted for48.4%, highage60-79, male to female ratio of1.61:1, the composition and non-elderly group wasno significant difference.②The senile group cholelithiasis prevalence wassignificantly higher than the non-elderly group; same cholelithiasis as the main causesof morbidity and secondary causes of old age group for alcohol and fat, theprevalence was significantly lower than the non-elderly group.③The SAP areabdominal pain than non-elderly group, the main treatment symptoms of old agegroup, abdominal pain, the overall incidence of low abdominal pain than non-elderlySAP light.④The elderly group, comorbidities, the high incidence of non-elderly gro-up, including hypertension, cancer, coronary heart disease and heart dysfunction washigher than in non-elderly group.⑤The senile SAP more likely to have elevated ser-um calcium and serum albumin lower blood sugar; the two groups in serum amylaseserum lipase and HCT of CRP differences not statistically significant.⑥The oldergroup hospital complication rate in the non-elderly group, including infection, shockand the high incidence of non-elderly group; ARDS, ARF, gastrointestinal bleeding, intestinal obstruction, pseudocysts, pancreatic necrosis, the incidence of non-elderlyThere were no significant differences.⑦The old age group deaths and5cases (10.6%)than non-elderly group2cases (4.0%), but the difference was not statistically signific-ant. The older group, the average number of hospital days for the average hospitaldays (17.21±11.24), non-elderly group (15.95±6.21) d, the difference was not statist-ically significant. Conclusion: Compared with the non-elderly SAP, the senile SAP cholelithiasis rate;primary treatment symptoms were abdominal pain, abdominal pain, the totalincidence than non-elderly group, and abdominal pain than non-elderly SAP light;higher proportion of coexist basis of disease, especially hypertension, cancer, coronary heart disease and heart function insufficiency; more prone to lower serumcalcium and serum albumin and blood glucose increased; higher complication rate;but in the case fatality rate, length of hospital stay were no significant differences...
