Grassland And Animal Industry Problem And Countermeasure Of Wumeng Mountainous

Wumeng mountainous include38counties (city, area) belong to yunnan, guizhou, sichuan. It is the national key areas for poverty alleviation and with serious rocky desertification. HeZhang is the typical area.Through investigating the related literatures,collecting information and data analysis,Interview government staff and related staff,conducting a farm surveys and lab examination to analyze the situation and existing problems of grassland and animal industry in Hezhang. Suggestions were proposed. The main results obtained were as follows。l.The sell rate is low of sheep and cattle in Hezhang county.2009-2011cattle sell rate are12.66%,14.71%and16.61%. Sheep slaughtering rate are32.16%,42.02%and50.77%,2. The results showed that there were a19.3%mortality of black goat in winter. The mortality of goat lamb was31.0%which was the highest, whilst finishing goats was3.8%and the lowest.3.Farming is still the main economic source in Hezhang.farmer average per capita income in2009-2011is3782.78yuan, farming income is1539.61yuan, accounting for41%.4.suggestion.grassland utilization unreasonable,extensive livestock management, etc...
