Growing media are mainly natural materials, and the use of these non-renewable resources will be less and less with the strengthening of the eco-friendly.With the increasing development of new materials putting on agenda, this project intends to study the fermentation treatment technology that applies to agricultural waste which is produced by horticultural substrate,at the same time develops series gardening matrix product, and researches product application techniques and evaluation.Aiming at the industrial waste--sludge, we start this topic by investigating the chemical plants,sewage treatment plants, paper making plants, printing and dyeing mill plants, aquaculture plants, etc. in Deqing an Lin an through2008-2011, using the line survey method to collect the sewage sample. After analysising and screening, we finally choose the sludge in Deqing sewage treatment plant and the pig manure in Gaofeng farm as experimental material.The formation of the standard sludge compost product is mainly through the following steps:high speed degradation and decomposition stage, heat stage, and ultimately the aerated static pile system. The common horticultural production matrix is mainly applicable to a variety of vegetables and flowers.Depending on the nature of the products in different nutritional matrix, cucumbers and flowers are choosed to be observed their growth.Four different substrate culture for cucumber seedlings are used in this test, it shows that the physical properties of the matrix directly affect the traits of cucumber seedlings.The small porosity of the matrix is about60%, and the large porosity is less than22%.It is more suitable for cucumber seedling when the total porosity is about80%.The chemical properties and the characteristics of fertility of the matrix have a direct impact on physiological indexes of cucumber seedlings. The cucumber root activity and chlorophyll content will draw as directly proportional relationship when the content of total N lies between0.46to1.36.And it is more suitable for cucumber seedlings when matrix pH is about5.8to6.7.The experiment is started according to the impact the proportion of N-P-k to the growth of flowers. The main varieties are zinnia, poinsettia, Cymbidium and Lily. We set eight processing in this N-P-K nutrition formulation screening test, and the results of N-P-K nutrition formula experiment for matrix cultivated flowers show that, the growth and development of zinnia requires more nitrogen nutrition, it belongs to sensitive crops nitrogen and it’s best nutrition formula is NP2O5:K2O=1:0.4:0.8. Poinsettia belongs to nitrogen, potassium sensitive crops, and the interaction of Nitrogen and potassium is obviously. It’s best nutrition formula is NP2O5:K2O=N:P2O5K2O=1:0.4:1.7. Cymbidium belongs to pelement, potassium sensitive crops, the interaction of pelement and potassium is also obviously. It’s best nutrition formula is NP2O5:K2O=N:P2O5:K2O=1:1.4:3.3. Lily’s growth and development requires more phosphorus, which belongs to pelement, potassium sensitive crops, and it’s best nutrition formula is NP2O5:K2O=N:P2O5:K2O=1:1.4:1.7.We need to take use of the industrial mode of production to produce organic (nutrition) matrix and facilities commodity, displaying its high quality, high yield, high efficiency effect, in order to allow developing waste sludge as nutrient on the right track.It is very important to use these waste sludge rationaly and efficiently, to turning waste into treasure, and to grasp the market.
