Pre-harvest sprouting (PHS), not only deteriorated wheat processing quality, but alsoreduces the wheat yield and economic value,to improve the Pre-Harvest SproutingResistance level is one of the important goals of wheat breeding. In our study werediscovered among380wheat varieties, including imported varieties and intermediatestrains, and some collect bred wheat varieties in different wheat growing areas,using thepre-harvest sprouting resistance markers which has been reported on3AL,3BL,4AS and4AL chromosome to identifiy the allelic type in above materials, combined with the2010-2011two Annual for seed germination index(GI), analysis the correlationbetween PHS resistance and different allele, which may be useful for improving PHStolerance as breeding parents. The main findings are as follows:1ã€On chromosome3BL:(1) Vp1-b2marker identified a total of six kinds of allelic types,including a new type Vp1-Bh, Vp1-Ba and Vp1-Bc are inclined to weak seed dormancyand susceptibility to PHS, Vp1-Be is related to the low GI value.(2) Vp1-B3markeridentified five kinds of allelic type, and its correlation with seed germination index did notreach significant levels.2ã€On chromosome3AL: A17-18marker identified10kinds of allelic type, includingfour kinds of new type, Vp1-Ac is related to high GI value,Vp1-Af is related to low GIvalue.3ã€On chromosome3AS:(1) Barc57marker identified14kinds of allelic type, where aand d type are related to low GI value, g and i type are related to GI value;(2) Barc310marker identified14kinds of allelic type, where c is the type related to low GI value; dtype is related to GI value. In addition, new types b and f are associated with high GI value,indicating the improvement of this type is inclined to weak seed dormancy and sensitive toPHS. Heterozygous type a+b and c+b are related to the low GI value;(3) Barc294marker identified11kinds of allelic type, where c is the type related to low budding index,the missing type is related to high budding index;(4) Barc321were identified six kinds ofallelic type, where a is related to low budding index, illustrate this type of species is notsensitive to PHS; b type is related to high budding index;(5) Barc12identified a total of21kinds of allelic type, where d, q and f type were generally significant or highly significantnegative correlation to seed sprouting index, indicating the types of varieties are notsensitive to PHS. 4ã€On chromosome4AL:(1) Xzxq118marker identified four kinds of allelic type,Xzxq118b is related to low budding index;(2) Gwm397marker identified seven kinds ofallelic type, where Gwm397a is related to low budding index, Gwm397c is related to highbudding index, the general performance of varieties containing this type is more sensitiveof PHS;(3) Barc170were identified12kinds of allelic type, the Barc170b and Barc170dare related to low budding index, indicating that both are not sensitive to PHS;(4)Gwm637identified a total of six kinds of allelic types, and its correlation with seedgermination index did not reach significant levels.. |
