Based on research on the hybrid rice variety "â…¡ You Ming86", the breeding procedure and propagation techniques were described; high yield cultivation technology in two different ecological regions was summarized; the implementing effect of new marketing modes and many marketing was analyzed. This paper will provide some enlightenment with the readers on the variety promoting and marketing."â…¡ You Ming86" which was crossed by "â…¡-32A" and "Minghui86" were bred by San Ming Agricultural institute in1996. It is super hybrid rice variety with high yield, good quality, good resistance and early maturity. It was registered on the National crop approval committee and produced&marketed by Anhui Longping High technology Co,. ltd only.Based on trials in many places of different ecological regions for several years, the propagation techniques and cultivation technology of "â…¡ You Ming86"were described. After deep analysis on the old marketing mode that one general rice variety was administrated by many companies with low price and profit, a new promoting mode that is "district sole agent, closed marketing in net" was put forward. Not only reasonable adjustment the benefit distribution among research institutes, companies and agents, but also activates the whole industry chain and promote the development of industry. The profit of commercial seeds was inclined by200%and the total of hybrid rice seeds reach1.50X104tons while the total area was1.33millions hm2in5years, after many measures were adopted. Such as stereo advertisement, high yield platform competition training activities in1,000towns&10,000villages, contribute of50tons seeds, soliciting articles&scientific and technological extension and so on.
