| Walnut germplasm resources in Shimian were studied. The index included the conditions of origin (place names, including small place names, the head of household name, habitat, age, operation and management of cases), the growth traits (tree vigor, tree appearance, tree, tree height, crown width, stem height, diameter, etc.), the leaf-fruit characteristics, phenology (fruiting, flower and fruit drop period), the strong situation (fruiting branches rate, the output is the fruit drop situation, nuts, shape, size, seeds color, etc.). On this basis, the index of shape and quality including average diameter, nut weight, shell thickness, kernel rate, etc. and seeds inclusionsincluding crude fat, crude protein was detected. Walnut selection was carried out by main component analysis, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, scores given and expert scoring. On the other hand, the correlation analysis and cluster analysis of the main economic traits about42excellent strains were studied. The main conclusions were as follows:1. The walnut resources in Shimian was rich, and the total resources reached553000ones including51000ones having fruited. The percentage of walnut having fruited reached9.2%.Not fruiting walnut had502,000ones, and accounting for90.80%. Meanswile, the township in Shimian were suitable for walnut growth. The vertical distribution ranged from800m to1500m. The vast majority walnuts were artificial seedling, and a very small number of ones were natural seedling.2. The range of shell thickness of walnut nut in Shimian was1.120~1.280mm, and the kernel rate was47.0%to56.0%. It was easy to take benevolence, and there were three kinds of color including yellow and white, yellow, and cinnamon. The average content of crude fat about seeds reached66.6%, the average crude protein reached13.6%. there were above85.0percent walnut nut in Shimian having good value3. The main economic traits were analyzed by principal component analysis, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation, the scores given and expert score in order to conduct a comprehensive analysis. The conclusion were as follows (the top10plus trees):Zheng Jianjun in Xinmian town(small walnut), Zhang Dingfen in Yingzheng town(big walnut), Yang Shizhen1in Xieluo town, Zhang Dingfen in Yingzheng town, Zhang Dingshu in Yingzheng town, He Gangqing in Yonghe town, Luo Ying in Yingzheng, Ying Sizheng2in Xieluo, Peng Yunhong in Xinmian, Cai Peicheng in Zaiyang.4. Two varieties from42superior strains were selected which were Zheng Jianjun in Xinmian town (small walnut) and Zhang Dingfen in Yingzheng town (big walnut).5. The overall quality leval of42plus tree nuts reached national priority level or a standard, and which had good performance. The average content of crude fat and crude protein reached66.71%and13.81%respectively. These walnuts had high nutritional value.6. The correlation between nut quality indicators of the42plus tree was strong, and there was a very significant positive correlation between most traits. The correlation between abdominal diameter, slit diameter, fruit high, air-dried fruit weight, kernel weight showed a highly significant positive correlation, and there had high correlation coefficient. There was a very significant negative correlation between shelling percentage and shell thickness. Abdominal Drive and crude protein content was significantly positively correlated. The linear quantitative relationship of the various quality indicators derived by regression analysis was also consistent with the correlation analysis.7. The equation was obtained about the wind dried fruit weight and abdominal diameter (x1), slit diameter (x2), fruit height(x3), shell thickness (x4), kernel weight (x5) through multiple regression analysis:y=3.136x1+1.588x2-0.052x3+3.022x4+0.751x5-12.122, and the estimated standard error was1.36359. On the other hand, the multiple regression was obtained about equation kernel weight and abdominal diameter (x1), slit diameter (x2), fruit height (x3), air-dried fruit weight(x4), kernel weight (x5):y=-1.134x1-0.714x2+1.17x3+0.605x4-1.568x5+2.599, and the estimated standard error was1.2236.8. The42local walnut were divided into five categories:(1) high-protein giant walnut class;(2) high-fat giant walnut;(3) thin-shell walnuts class;(4) small and thin-shell walnut class;(5) ordinary oil and edible quality walnut class. |
