By researching biological characters and molecule detection of self-progenies of p5CS transgenic wheatgrass,T1and T2generation transgenic plants,genetic stability of p5CS gene was identified.It will provide materials for the later study.The results were as follows:The botanical characters,the growth speed and the phenological period of T1generation plants of p5CS transgenic wheatgrass were studied to analyze p5CS gene to effection of A. cristatum×A. desertorum cv.’Hycrest-Mengnong’.The results showed that the positive plants were compared with the negative control plants:the growth speed of positive plants was slightly less.tuming-green was early2days,withered stage was postponed5~6d,green period was extended7-10d.caudex has significant differences(P<0.05) and tiller ability increased.p5CS transgenic wheatgrass of T2generation were analysed by PCR.Southern blot and Northern blot.It showed that the target gene p5CS have be integrated from T1generation p5CS transgenic wheatgrass into T2generation p5CS transgenic wheatgrass.The integration number is1~2and the p5CS gene was expressed in T2generation transgenic wheatgrass.8positive plants were detected in a total of68To generation transgenic wheatgrass in this study.
