Biomass and productivity is the important function index of ecological system, forest biomass and productivity become the new research topic, because closely contact with forest carbon sink function. This study selects8samples (Mordaga, Genhe, Chaoer, Chabaqi, Wuchagou, Heilihe, Saihanwula and Huanggangliang) along Daxinganling from north to south, research of distribution of6major tree species (Populus davidiana Dode, Betula platyphylla, Quercus mongolica Fisch, Pinus tabuliformis, Pinus sylvestris var. mongplica, Larix gmelinii Rupr.), determine regular changes of the biomass and productivity of typical tree species at different age groups in eastern Inner Mongolia by actual measure. This paper offer exact database, which exact estimate carbon sink in Eastern Inner Mongolia, further laid a solid foundation. The main findings were as follows:1. The tree layer biomass growth stages from young forest to over mature, Populus davidiana Dode(R2=0.9604, P=0.0034), Betula platyphylla (R2=0.7559, P=0.0001), Pinus tabuliformis (R2=0.7920, P=0.0431) and Larix gmelinii Rupr.(R2=0.6918, P=0.0203) all linear increase, Quercus mongolica Fisch not linear increase. The stands biomass growth stages from young forest to over mature, Populus davidiana Dode (R2=0.9609, P=0.0033), Betula platyphylla (R2=0.7608, P=0.0001), Pinus tabuliformis (R2=0.8012, P=0.0401) and Larix gmelinii Rupr.(R2=0.6891, P=0.0208) all linear increase, Quercus mongolica Fisch not linear increase. Populus davidiana Dode, Betula platyphylla, Pinus tabuliformis, Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica, Larix gmelinii Rupr. spatial distribution:tree layer> shrub layer> herb layer, Quercus mongolica Fisch spatial distribution:tree layer> herb layer> shrub layer. Only consider from capacity of carbon storage, this paper recommend plant Larix gmelinii Rupr, reduce plant Pinus tabuliformis and Quercus mongolica Fisch, to raise capacity of carbon storage.2. Net growth of the constituent, Populus davidiana Dode is trunk> branch> bark root> leaf; Betula platyphylla is trunk> root> branch> bark> leaf; Quercus mongolica Fisch is trunk> branch> bark> root> leaf; Pinus tabuliformis is trunk> leaf> branch> bark> root; Larix gmelinii Rupr. is trunk> branch> root> bark> leaf. Trunk dominant of all tree species, that immediate react the level of organic matter production and accumulation.3. The productivity growth stages from young forest to over mature, the tree layer increased, then decreased; Shrub layer productivity different change trend in the each tree species, Populus davidiana Dode increased, then decreased, Betula platyphylla and Larix gmelinii Rupr. stability change, Quercus mongolica Fisch, Pinus tabuliformis and Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica continue to rise; Herb layer productivity different change trend in the each tree species, Populus davidiana Dode, Quercus mongolica Fisch, Pinus tabuliformis, Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica continue to rise, Betula platyphylla and Larix gmelinii Rupr. stability change. The productivity growth stages from young forest to over mature, the stand increased, then decreased. Populus davidiana Dode, Betula platyphylla, Quercus mongolica Fisch and Larix gmelinii Rupr. spatial distribution:tree layer> herb layer> shrub layer, Pinus tabuliformis and Pinus sylvestris var. mongolica spatial distribution:tree layer> shrub layer> herb layer. Only consider from ability of carbon storage, this paper recommend plant Larix gmelinii Rupr., reduce plant Quercus mongolica Fisch, to raise ability of carbon storage.
