Eggs are common agricultural products, which are important in people’s daily life. With the improvement of our living standards, people pay more attention on the quality and package of eggs. In order to meet the market demands and industrial requirements, processes as cleaning, drying, testing, grading and packaging of eggs become key steps to improve the quality and safety of the eggs.After investigation about the domestic and international development on the technology and equipment for grading and packing eggs, the applications of egg collection, transportation, orientation, packing and grading was summed up. After analysis of the process program and comparison of equipment structures, a three-channel production line for eggs’classification equipment was designed, the results are as follows:1. On the basis of the process requirements of eggs grading and packaging as well as the principle of rational distribution of production line, an overall layout of three-channel production line for eggs’classification and packing is proposed in this research. The research proposed a conveyor system after the introduction of composition and functions of the main equipment in the production line.2. Design an automatic packing machine, which can achieve the goals as:eggs diversion, six eggs synchronization, eggs orientation, dropping space variable, packing in rows. Use the software Solidworks and ADAMS for three-dimensional modeling, virtual assembling, dynamic simulation, validation and optimization of the design program.3. According to the actual needs during the egg processing production, design an automatic egg tray conveyor to adapt the productivity of egg grading and packaging machine. The device can automatically supply and convey the egg tray forward based on the motion of the packaging machine. |
