| In order to explore the genetic evaluation programs suitable to the Chinese Merino sheep (Xinjiang type) in Xinjiang Kunas sheep farm and Bay sheep farm, this research collected identification records and shearing records from2000to201011years of Xinjiang Kunas sheep farm and Bay sheep farm. Using Least squares variance analysis (SAS8.1), the affectives of two non-genetic factors of birth year and the different herds to the whole identificated15types of characters of the Chinese Merino (Xinjiang type) was analyzed. The results showed that the birth year have significant effects to wool staple length, wool fineness score, body condition score, evalution weight, clean fleece weight, greasy fleece weight and birth weight (p<0.01); the different herds have significant effects to wool staple length, wool fineness score, body condition score, evalution weight, clean fleece weight, greasy fleece weight and birth weight (p <0.01).Based on significant affects of the various factors, a division to fixed effects was conducted. Genetic parameter estimation and genetic evaluation of Chinese Merino (Xinjiang type) was conducted by using animal model BLUP method and MTDFREML software. The wool staple length, wool fineness score, body condition score, evalution weight, clean fleece weight, greasy fleece weight, birth weight variance components and heritability, and mutual genetic correlation between each other were estimated and the effect value of the fixed effects, inbreeding coefficient of all individuals and individual wool staple length, wool fineness score, body condition score, evalution weight, clean fleece weight, greasy fleece weight, birth weight breeding value (EBV) were calculated. The Comprehensive breeding values (CBV) of Chinese Merino (Xinjiang type) of Xinjiang Kunas sheep farm and Bay stud farm were estimated according to the group value of wool fineness score, evalution weight and greasy fleece weight, core group of sheep was celected to stay in the flock.The wool staple length, wool fineness score, body condition score, evalution weight, clean fleece weight and greasy fleece weight of Xinjiang Kunas sheep farm were0.21,0.65,0.36,0.26,0.26and0.35, separately:The wool staple length, wool fineness score, body condition score, evalution weight, clean fleece weight, greasy fleece weight and birth weight of Bay sheep breeding farm were0.18,0.67,0.26,0.32,0.21,0.31and0.24. separately.The flock inbreeding coefficient of Xinjiang Kunas sheep farm and Bay sheep farm were0.00020and0.00014. separately. In2000-2009years, the top ten Xinjiang Kunas ram sheeps used were405.409,416,1014,10211024,1032,1036,1931and2818; In2000-2010years, the top ten ram Bay sheeps used were5,9,109,235,346,361,416,477,701and721. In Kunas sheep farm, the top ten ewe sheeps were20073589,20023544,20023562.20063734,20063579,20023543,20043432,20063574,20063585and20083613, its Comprehensive breeding values were115.545,112.871,110.486,107.436,102.663,100.687,95.828,95.575,94.908and93.779, separately.
