Study On The Introduction And Application Of Perennial Flowers In Nanchang

The analysis of the existing problems and the necessity of the introduction for perennial flowers, the application situation of outdoor flowers was investigated in the main area of Nan Chang. This paper had evaluated the application value of36perennial flowers which were introuducted in Elephant lake wetland park by using the Analytic Hierarchy Process. And the growth rule, cultivation technology and application form of ten perennial flowers which are selected in the first level of application value were studied. The results are as follows:1The kind of perennial flower was less, especially with view pattern, the application frequency was low.There was only4perennial flowers in Nanchang, where were commonly used20flowers. Their ranking of application frequency was after10, and the landscape flower was chrysanthemum.2The model of application value assessment for perennial flowers was maked.This Study had developed a model of application value assessment for perennial flowers by using the Analytic Hierarchy Process, and the model was maked in the light of actual condition of Nanchang. Perennial flowers were divided into4grades on the basis of application value index:Ⅰ(L>4.0):17breeds of perennial flowers were extensive popularization and application;Ⅱ(3.0≤L≤4.0):8breeds could be popularized;Ⅲ(2.5≤L<3.0):6breeds could be selectively applied;Ⅳ(L<2.5):5breeds were applied in small area.3The application value of10perennial flowers was good, And they were divided into evergreen breed and withered breed.According to growth rule of10perennial flowers, they were divided into evergreen breed and withered breed. The evergreen breed were Maiden pink, Gaillardia aristata, Gaura lindheimeri and Gaura lindheimen’Crimson Bunerny’. Their florescence was3months, and their ability of aginst the cold was the best. A majority of breeds were evergreen. The others were withered breeds, and they were Coreopsis’Heaven’s door", Hemerocallis ’Bettywods’, Chrysanthemum maximum, Veronica spicata, Aster novi-belgii and Stipa tenuissima. The ability of aginst the cold were the better. Overgroung part of the plant was dead, and the root was dormancy.4The main type of flower propagation was Vegetative ropagation. And10perennial flowers could be used several application forms.The main types of flower propagation were Cutting propagation and Offshoot propagation.10perennial flowers could be used to collocate with Flower terrace, Landscape, Water, Lawn, Specified plant garden and Garden cover plants.
