The Biodiversity Impact Study Of Nature Reserve In The Highway Reconstruction Period

With the development of economy, the highway as a main transportation means has got breakneck development in recent years, while some old highways need the reconstruction which cannot satisfy the need of transportation. As more and more attention paid to ecological environment, the EIA of highway engineering on the ecological environment will become an important component. The research of highway construction project’s EIA in China starts later and does not have uniform standards or quantification models which can extend practically. Therefore, further study of highway construction project of the ecological environment impact assessment has important strategic significance to promote sustainable development of the highway transportation.Based on reference of a voluminous literature, analysis of biodiversity evaluation work of highway construction projects and experience, I make an evaluation of biological diversity within the209national highway expansion project from Wang Jiazhuang to Long Xugou section in the nature reserves of savage valley. Through on-the-spot sample method, the method of literature review, visit investigation and etc., I investigate the existing situation of creatures in the evaluation area. According to classification principles of China Vegetation wrote by Wu Zhengyi, I analyze the vegetation type characteristic and flora composition, animals only the flora division, what’s more, I point out the effect factors and concrete protective measures on diversity of plants and animals. In evaluation area only one kind of national level one protected plants is found (also country precious tree, national level two protection of rare and endangered plant)(Ginkgo biloba); Lin musk deer one species of the state level one protected mammals is found,10national level two protected birds, no national key protected reptiles and amphibians,5provincial protected reptiles and8provincial protected amphibians.
