As Wheat area along the Huai River in Anhui province is the main wheat producing areas and selection and promotion of high-yielding wheat varieties is an important measure to ensure a steady output---increasing, the experiment, which was conducted in Funan, tested on10varieties (lines) yields three factors, plant type traits and reproductive dynamics and other indicators for2years. It initially obtained characteristics of the production of wheat along the Huaihe River region. The main result is as follows:1. Economic coefficient has been reaching a higher value, in0.46-0.48between.2. Plant-type:High yielding varieties (lines) are shorter, plant height are between75cm-78cm.High yield should maintain relatively short plant height and shorter internode and appropriate under the ear festival. To reduce plant height is mainly make short basal internodes.Choosing long spike, more panicles per grain number is larger, degradation of leaves in varieties of less spike let more help to increase production.high yield of wheat breeding.The characteristic of high yield wheat along Huaihe river was that the last and the next to last leaves were short and wide,but the antepenultimate leaf was short and narrow.High-yielding wheat has higher leaf area index, between5.2-5.5. Efficient the increase of leaf area mainly by improving the last leaf area.3. The Growth Trends:High-yield wheat leaf area index during the growth process compared to the lower yield varieties (lines) leaf area index was significantly higher, which reached the highest value at the booting stage and the leaf area index was9.0, about8.0respectively. Biomass has been high throughout the growth period, In particular, significantly higher in the late growth stage and the harvest biomass is above1300kg/667m2. Seedling, booting and flowering and yield of biomass was significantly related to the output. The10tested high-yielding varieties (lines) of the relatively high yield varieties (lines) in the filling process is not prominent in the grain weight.
