Resource Research And Landscape Application Of Wild Groundcover Plants In Hefei City

Wild groundcover plants have abundant species, strong adaptability and resistance.And they also have high ornamental value, rich administrative levels change and inefficientmanagement. Along with the people esthetic idea’s changing, wild groundcover plantsreceive the garden practitioners’ and researchers’ attention day by day. Wild groundcoverresources were systematically investigated using five-point random sampling method onthe basis of field survey and statistical analysis in Hefei. According to the investigationresults, we select the frequency of greater than30%wild groundcover plants as statisticalanalysis objects. Comprehensive value is analysised by the connection method between thetwo groups, using SPSS10.0software. The purpose is to finding different types of wildcover plants species composition, and analysising their occurrence characteristics. It willprovide the theory basis in aspects of wild groundcover plants landscape application.The findings analysis indicated：1、The wild groundcover plants resources’ basic characteristics are mainly shown inthe following aspects in Hefei:(1) We select eight samples as investigate objects, which are the Park of Hefei City,Hefei-city’s ecological park, Anhui Agriculture University, government new area, Binhunew area, Yaxin nursery, Xiyuan residential area and Shushan Scenic Area. And the resultsshow that there are totally119species of Wild Groundcover plants that can be identified inHefei (including43families and105genera), of which there are16species of Compositae,10species of Gramineae,9species of Polygonaceae, and8species of Cruciferae.(2) And the investigation show that there are16kinds of Wild Groundcover SpeciesComposition, of which there are4kinds of wild groundcover plants in winter and spring,5kinds of wild groundcover plants in summer and fall,4kinds of wild groundcover plantsin more light condition, and3kinds of wild groundcover plants in Shushan forestecosystem. The results show that wild groundcover plants resources should be fully takeninto account the alternate stability characteristics of wild groundcover plants indevelopment and utilization.(3) According to the results of data analysis,16kinds of wild groundcover plantsalternate type which have a highly potential for application in landscape architecture inHefei are especially recommended.(4) On the base of findings, we recommend several species of wild groundcoverplants which showed application potential and the value from landscape application. 2、According to analysising the application of groundcover plants in Hefei, it showsthat the popularization and application of wild groundcover plants resources research are atthe initial stage. We should take effective measures to develop reasonably and protect thewild groundcover plants resources. First of all, we should perfect relevant laws andregulations, so that the developer can take legal means to developing wild groundcoverplants resources. Secondly, we should strengthen the basic research in wild groundcoverplant resources, and it would be provide a theoretical basis for the future development andutilization of wild groundcover plant resources. Finally, we had better make a plansystematically to screen the wild groundcover plants which are endowed with shighlyornamental value and landscape value, which will provide theoretical foundation for wildgoundcover plants breeding and promotes work.
