The partial mitochondrial control region of463domestic pigs and wild boars from Sichuan,Tibetanhighlands,Gansu, Yunnan and Chongqing was sequenced and analyzed.Also,all1394mitochondrial DNA D-Loop sequences publised in Genbank were included in our analysis. With the methods of molecular phylogeny analysis, network, mismatch distribution analysis and neutral test of all data which were distributed in15regions the upstream region of the Yangtze River (URYZ),Tibetan highlands, the middle and downstream region of the Yangtze River(MDYZ),South East Asia(SEA),the middle and upstream region of the Yellow River(MUYR),the downstream region of the Yellow River(DRYR),South Asia (SA),South China(SC),North East China(NEC),Island South East Asia(ISEA),Pacific Islands,Yunnan,Taiwan,Korea and Japan. We studied the origin of domestic pigs in Asia and the results are showed as follows:1.In all the1857sequences,we identified285haplotypes which included189domestic haplotypes,122wild haplotypes and29haplotypes were shared between domestic and wild pigs. The high diversity of haplotype were found in URYZ,which included52haplotypes. In detail,it contained43domestic haplotypes(19unique haplotypes)and9wild haplotypes in which4were unique2. The results of mismatch distribution analysis and neutral test suggested the expansion events in URYZ.3.The upstream region of the Yangtze River(URYZ)were proved to be a new another domestication center of pigs. |
