In order to clarify the effection of overexpression of fps gene on terpenoid metabolism intobacco, we plant fps four tobacco lines (K-4K-6, K-17, K-35) and control of flue-cured tobaccovarieties K326in2010-2011in Henan Agricultural University experimental greenhouses. westudy them from gene expression and Metabolism. The main results are as follows:1. Terpene metabolism key enzyme gene expression analysis showed that, overexpression ofexogenous fps gene in tobacco had a positive regulation effect on Hmgr、fps、teas, but nosignificant impact on dxps, dxr, gpps, ggpps. And had a negative effect on ipi. At the sametime overexpression of exogenous fps gene in tobacco had a positive regulation effect on Psy,ZDS and Lycb in carotenoids biosynthesis pathway.2. Chemical analysis indicated that the contents of chromoplast triene diol and severalcarotenoid substances in fps transgenosis tobacco plants were higher than untransformedK326controls in all development periods. And cytokinin were lower than untransformedK326controls.3. There were2359differently expressed genes among31182genes set in a m icroarray plate, inwhich1413genes up-regulated and946down-regulated compared with control. Amongthem,59were respond to amino acid metabolism,39were respond to carbon metabolism,32were respond to secondary metabolites,25were respond to and growth hormone,12geneswere respond to terpene metabolism,5genes were respond to associated with resistance.overexpression of exogenous fps gene in tobacco had a regulation effect on way-affect themetabolic pathway of terpenoid also affect other non-target approach, sugar and fat metabolism, plant defense, have a certain impact.
