Abstract/Summary:
Cotton as one of the most important commercial crops, it’s production status relates to the economic benefit of agricultural production directly, and impacts the development of follow-up industries, such as textile industry and clothing industry. With the continuous improvement of people’s living standards and technology innovation of the modern textile industry, people require the cotton fiber quality becoming better. To ensure cotton production and constantly improve the quality of cotton fiber becomes the main problems for cotton breeders consider. Traditional breeding methods cycle is longer and less efficient, and through modern DNA molecular markers to assist breeding has become a faster, more accurate way of breeding. At the present time, the gene coverage rate of built island cotton, upland cotton interspecific genetic maps is relatively low, locate QTL for yield and quality traits, such as the small number, is not accurate enough, so the need for accurate positioning.Screening of Xinhai21and Xinluzhong36by SSR and SRAP marked primer, the PCR primers screened were used to amplify gene for two F2populations and constructed the genetic linkage map, and the cotton fiber quality was preliminary QTL mapped with the way of positive and negative groups of F2. The main results of this study are as follows:1. Agronomic traits. Xinhai21agronomic traits. The difference in two hybrid population is not as apparent as in the two parents of this performance in terms of plant height and the beginning of section surplus parents, but in the boll rate but not as good as the parents, the field growing range of016population should be broader than017population compared, a reference of good plants also used as field screening.2. Fiber quality traits and the physiological and biochemical indexes of parents of cotton fiber. The segregation is performed by different fiber quality of two population through frequency distribution comparison formed a relatively high level differences in high inter specific hybrid populations and parents.3. DNA molecular markers and construction of linkage maps.In this research,600SSR primers and238SRAP primers were selected, and94polymorphisms primers were screened.69polymorphic primers were screened from600SSR primers, as a total number of11.5%. Genetic linkage analysis was performed to the amplified polymorphic markers from F2populations, genetic linkage map with31marker sites and six linkage groups were built. The average distance between markers was36.7cM, and total length was1140.2cM, covered22.82%of the cotton genome.4. QTL mapping of fiber quality.Four cotton fiber length QTLs, six QTLs for fiber strength, seven QTL associated with the elongation, eight QTLs associated with micronaire,16spinning Indexthe QTLs were detected.
