In sacco and intact cockerels were employed to determine nutritive value, ruminal degradability and intestinal digestibility of soybean meal (SBM; from Jilin, Jiusan and Linkou respectively) and distillers dried grains with solubles (DDGS; from Jixian, Mudanjiang and Zhaodong respectively) from different sources.1) Different sources significantly affected the nutrient content of SBM and DDGS. The results showed that SBM from Jilin had greatest content of CP and SP, and followed by SBM from Jiusan, and SBM from Linkou which had highest content of NDIP (29.10%).The PA and PB2fractions were in the Jiusan SBM greater than tho se found in other SBM samples; The PB1fractions was highest in SBM from Jilin, and was lowest in SBM from Linkou, and SBM Jiusan was intermediate (P<0.05). The PB3and PC fraction in the Linkou SBM was the highest in the SBM samples contributed27.23to2.52%of the CP (P<0.05). Changes on CP and NDIP were similar in DDGS from different regions, and the sequence was Zhaodong> Jixian> Mudanjiang. The PB3and PC fractions were highest in DDGS from Zhaodong, and was lowest in DDGS from Mudanjiang, and SBM Jixian was intermediate; PA fraction in Mudanjiang DDGS rose respectively2.7for Jixian and2.1for Zhaodong compared with that in Mudanjiang; The PB1fraction was much greater in Mudanjiang DGGS compared with all other DGGS(P<0.05).. Except for BCAA and Ala, SBM samples has no significantly differences among them. The concentration of Trp, EAA and NEAA from three DDGS samples was significantly diffenent.2) Crude protein degradation parameters were not altered with expectation of the rate of CP degradation (c). Rumen digestibility of individual AA varied considerably within SBM and DDGS after16h of ruminal incubation.3) The intestinal digestibility was significantly greater for SBM from Jiusan (73.7%) than that of the other two kind of SBM (P<0.05). The intestinal digestibility was highest in DDGS from Jixian, and was lowest in DDGS from Mudanjiang, and DDGS from Zhaodong was intermediate (P<0.05). The digestibility of RUP-His, RUP-Leu and RUP-Thr of Jiusan SBM was greater than the other samples (P<0.05). In this experiment, the digestibility of RUP-Lys and RUP-Met of Linkou SBM were the highest among the three SBM samples. There were significant differences in the digestibility of individual AA among essential amino acids in the RUP fraction of DDGS except for Ile, Met and Val (P<0.05).4) The results of intestinal digestibility of protein in samples before (intact feed) and after (rumen residue)16-h ruminal incubation determined using the bioassay had a good correlation (r2=0.82).Standardized AA and RUP-AA digestibility was similar in SBM samples. Therefore, it was concluded that RUP-AA digestibility could be determined using intact SBM.
