Protection,Utilization And Value Assessment Of Shandong Wild Soybean Germplasm Resource

Crop germplasma resources is not only an important part of biodiversity, but also the basis of human survival and reproduction. The reasonable understanding of the value of crops germplasma resources is an important premise to establish the market price system of crops germplasma resources. Under the background of biodiversity, the protection, utilization and economic value assessment of crop germplasma resources were analyzed in this paper.According to the important characteristics of wild soybean, its value and application prospect were detailed analyzed in this paper. Wild soybean is an annual leguminous plant, which is widely distributed in China, Korea and the far eastern area of Russia. China has the most abundant wild soybean resources in the world. Wild soybean is considered to be an important medical and feeding plant, and also thought to be an important gene resource with its rare characteristics, such as high protein, high unsaturated fatty acids,high breeding coefficient and strong resistance.The assessment indicators of wild soybean economic value were established according to the basic theory and methodology of crop germplasma resources and natural resources. Assessment indicators were classified according to the different functions of wild soybean, and the wild soybean germplasma value evaluation system was established in this thesis. The direct use value and indirect use value of wild soybean germplasma in the Yellow River Delta, Shandong Province were preliminary assessed by the application of the wild soybean germplasma value evaluation system.The assessment results show that the direct use value and indirect use value of wild soybean germplasma resources in the wild soybean in situ conservation area of Yellow River Delta are up to26.7245million yuan/year and57.9551million yuan/year, respectively. It can be seen from these data that wild soybean has not only the direct economic value, with the potential for market development, but also has huge environmental and ecological value. Therefore, the maintaining and breeding of wild soybean resources in the Yellow river Delta has great significance on the local ecological and environmental protection.Although Shandong province attaches great importance to the protection of wild soybean, there is still inadequate in the wild soybean conservation and utilization. In this paper,countermeasures and suggestions for problems in the wild soybean germplasma conservation and utilization process were proposed,such as stepping up publicity,expanding the protected areas of wild soybean, strengthening migration protection, etc. All of these countermeasures and suggestions provide policy basis to better play the wild soybean resources advantage in Shandong Province.
