| Chinese chestnut (Castanea mollissima) is an important fruit species in China. It is very significant to know the mechanism of iron absorption, iron transport and iron storage for improving iron absorption, utilization efficiency and promoting seedling growth of Chinese chestnut.Mycorrhizal fungi are very popular in soil in nature, and the symbiosis of mycelium and root symbiotic is known as mycorrhizae. Chinese chestnut fine root can form a typical symbiosis with ectomycorrhizal fungi, which expanding the absorbing surface of fine roots and promoting nutrient elements absorption.Chinese chestnut variety "Oil Chestnut" had been taken as experiment material in this dissertation, which has been widely cultured in Luotian. Chinese chestnut seedlings were inoculated with ectomycorrhizal fungi of Boletus edulis and Suillus luteus. Then, the morphological characteristics, growth and physiological indice were tested. The main research results were in following:1. Chinese chestnut variety seedlings under iron deficiency stress, the growth of the seedling height, the ground diameter were suppression in certain extent. Compared with the control treatment, the seedling height of iron deficiency treatment reduced by12.58%in September, the ground diameter reduced by15.02%. There were significant differences between iron deficiency treatment seedlings and normal iron supplying treatment seedlings for both the seedling height and the ground diameter (P<0.05). Chinese chestnut variety seedlings under iron deficiency stress, the seedling biomass, the lateral root number, the root surface area and the root volume increased.Comparing with CK, Chinese chestnut variety seedlings under iron deficiency stress, the chestnut seedling leaf chlorophyll content and net photosynthetic rate, the soluble protein and the proline content increased significantly. The MDA contents both in roots and in leaves of chestnut seedlings in September, compared with the control treatment, increased by254.80%and121.88%, respectively. The difference was significant between seedlings of under iron deficiency stress and CK (P<0.05). Enzymes activities of SOD, POD and CAT reduced significantly compared with the control.2. To take not inoculated seedling as control, when both seedlings of Chinese chestnut variety seedlings under iron deficiency stress and Chinese chestnut variety seedlings with iron normal supplying inoculated with ectomycorrhizal fungi, ectomycorrhizal fungi promoted seedling height growth and seedling ground diameter growth; accumulation of chlorophyll, increasing soluble protein and proline content; decreasing the MDA content; increasing enzymes activity of SOD and POD. |
