The control of diseases and pests is a key of technology in organic cultivation. At present, the control of diseases and pests in our country is mainly biological control. In this paper, the in-vitro plate culture test and field experiments were conducted to study the effect of the diluent of bamboo vinegar and crude extracts of botanical on the organic cucumber. We wanted to study the growth function and the content of chlorophyll of the organic cucumber, and to investigate the prevention of diseases and pests by the extracts. At the same time,we researched the enhancing effects on Berberine with the presence of bamboo vinegar. The main results as following:We choose a typical organic farm which named Planck in Nanjing to start this test. Through our research, we found the main pest in organic cucumber is aphid, and the main diseases are Gray Mold and Powdery Mildew in organic cucumber.If extender of bamboo vinegar and honey could control aphids or accelerate growth of organic cucumbers, we start this test. The results showed that the growth of cucumbers change with the concentration of extender. Low-concentration of100times and300times extender could accelerate the growth of cucumbers, and high-concentration50times could restrain the growth. At the same time, pest control change with the concentration of extender,300times extender could control the aphids of organic cucumber effectively.The in-vitro plate culture test and field experiments were conducted to study the control effect of the diluent of bamboo vinegar and crude extracts of botanical to Botrytis cinerea. The results showed that the inhibition effect to Botrytis cinerea was changed with the extract and concentration of botanical extracts. The main results as following:50diluent of bamboo vinegar mixed with calamus, capsicum and areca achieved the highest inhibition effect on Botrytis cinerea. It was validated in field that the control effect of50diluent of bamboo vinegar mixed with capsicum was the best with long duration and50diluent of bamboo vinegar mixed with calamus had a quick result. At the same time,50diluent of bamboo vinegar mixed with areca made the content of chlorophyll increase obviously. The field experiments showed that every treatment was safe to the figure, colour, fruit and flower.An experiment was conducted to study the preventive effect of the diluent of bamboo vinegar and crude extract of botanical to Sphaerotheca fuliginea. The results showed that the preventive effect to Sphaerotheca fuliginea was changed with the extract and concentration of bamboo vinegar. The main results as following:bamboo vinegar mixed with capsicum and calamus areca achieved the highest preventive effect on Sphaerotheca fuliginea. In lower concentration (200diluent of mixtures), the preventive effect was still excelled Berberine.Berberine is a biologic pesticide in common use. An experiment was conducted to study the enhancing effects on Berberine by bamboo vinegar. Bamboo vinegar could enhance the effect of Berberine to Botrytis cinerea,50and100diluent of bamboo vinegar mixed with2000diluent of Berberine were best. Bamboo vinegar could also enhance the effect of Berberine to Sphaerotheca fuliginea,10and50diluent of bamboo vinegar mixed with2000diluent of Berberine were best.
