| This paper studied effect on the growth of plants and the application technique of bamboo vinegar primarily. In 2004 we investigated the effect of bamboo vinegar on the growth of cucumber, the quantity change of microorganism in rhizosphere, and the development of downy mildew of cucurbits with 'JinYou 30' cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) at the new technique experimentation base of yongfeng town in Beijing.Put 500 ml bamboo vinegar into one stere bed media, or irrigated the cucumber with 200 times diluted bamboo vinegar during the seedling phase, could accelerate the cucumber growth obviously. One stere bed media and planting media were treated with 500 ml bamboo vinegar, then regularly irrigated with 200 times diluted bamboo vinegar during the growing phase, could increase the yield, the diameter of stem, the height of plants, and could accelerate the leaves growing, but could not cause the nitrate content exceeding legal value. It would restrain growth of cucumber when the concentration levels of bamboo vinegar were too high or too low.Treated bed media with bamboo vinegar could enhance the quantity of bacteria, and reduce the quantity of fungi, but the actinomyces quantity was most when the concentration levels of bamboo vinegar was 250ml per stere bed media, and it would decrease when the concentration levels of bamboo vinegar was too high or too low. Irrigated the cucumber with 200 times diluted bamboo vinegar during the seedling phase, could accelerate propagating of bacteria, actinomyces and fungi. The increasing effect would decrease when the concentration levels of bamboo vinegar were too high or too low.50~100 times diluted bamboo vinegar could efficiently inhibit germinating on sporangium of downy mildew of cucurbits, and could control the harm on cucumber in the field. The effects of repression to microorganism and prevention plant diseases could equate with 600 times diluted 72% Curzate. |
