Brief Comments On Landscape Greening Of Villages And Small Towns In Baotou

Landscape greening of villages and small towns in the city has become the bottleneck ofurban landscape and ecological environment optimization. There are7towns and149villagesin Baotou city. Through the survey, there are seven problems in villages and small townslandscape in Baotou at present:(1) Although the green coverage rate is up to the national level,on the whole, the green coverage cannot reach the requirement, green management level islow, not meticulous and extensive.(2) Greening tree species are not rich, arbor, frutex andgrass cannot combine very well, they can’t meet the sustainable development need of urbanecotope in Baotou.(3) Tree species collocation is not reasonable. Some tree species should beplanted to improve the town microclimate such as the species that can absorb harmful gas anddust.(4) Arbor, mesophanerophytes, conifer and broad-leaved tree are not reasonable onspecies collocation and it is difficult to produce the best possible forest ecological andenvironmental benefits in the unit area.(5) The organization management mechanism is lag,the rural greening lack system planning and a comprehensive and forward-looking greenecological system for the integration of urban and rural is not formed.(6) Landscape elementsare considered too little. In the past, people were just seeking a green line, sculpture andsketch art landscapes were absent. So the landscape and the whole green in Baotou don’tmatch.(7) In the past, leisure activities places for the masses were not considered. With theincrease of leisure time, it can not satisfy the leisure demand of the masses.On this basis, combining with the green space system planning in Baotou, landscapeecological engineering ideas are presented about Jiaerba village, Yiliuyao village, Jingbushivillage, Wuyinfu village, Erliban village, Heping village and so on, and the necessity andfeasibility of the scheme are demonstrated.Concluded that,(1) Villages’ landscaping projects is the important content for theconstruction of villages and towns, which play a very important role in the sustainabledevelopment of the ecological environment. In the rural landscape planning and design weshould adhere to the concept of sustainable development and the implementation of scientificplanning, so that cities and towns can develop together and form a favorable investmentenvironment and promote urban-rural economic win-win development.(2) We should focuson the local characteristics of the urban village landscape. In the process of constructing the urban village landscaping, we should take the overall urban landscape features into ourconsideration and make full understanding of local cultures to make full use of native species,then the local characteristics format.(3) The landscape of towns and villages must be adaptedto local conditions. We should take every possible factor into consideration and make full useof ecological advantages and industrial features, and make it be an effective way to improvethe current village appearance and to increase farmers’ income, so we can realize the win-windevelopment of the landscape, economics and ecology.
