| In this paper, Impatiens ’Hnearifolia’Harmony Orange Excitement’and I.’Red Glow’were used as materials to study the couple effect of water and nitrogen and different phosphorus, potassium concentration levels on growth and flowering of Impatiens linearifolia. The couple effect of water and nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium absorption pattern of Impatiens linearifolia were studied by qualitative observation of plant height, crown diameter, leaves, branches and flowers with quantitative analysis of the morphological status of root development and water use status. The optimal couple of water and nitrogen and phosphorus, potassium concentration range for Impatiens linearifolia were initially explored. The chief results were as follows:1.The couple effect of water and nitrogen to I.’Harmony Orange Excitement’ and I.’Red Glow’were studied. The results were as follows:(1) In the case of couple low-grade water deficit (W2) and mild level of nitrogen concentration (180 mg·L-1),it got longest single florescence, the maximum number of flower and the largest dry weight. In the case of couple low-grade water deficit (W2) and low level of nitrogen concentration (90 mg·L-1),it was good to root development, with the longest root length and the largest root surface area.(2) The couple effect of water and nitrogen had influence on the dynamic transpiration changes. Daily transpiration rate in one typical sunny day presented a single peak curve. In the case of couple routine-grade water deficit (W1) and low level of nitrogen concentration (90 mg-L-’),it got the maximum accumulated transpiration in growing season from February to July in 2011, at the same time,root-shoot ratio was the largest. In the case of mild-grade water deficit (W3), stomatal density was larger than the other treatments significantly. No significant differences of specific leaf weight had been exhibited among various couple water and nitrogen treatments.(3)The couple low-grade water deficit (W2) and mild level of nitrogen concentration (180 mg·L-1) was good to the nitrogen absorption, while couple low-grade water deficit (W2) and low level of nitrogen concentration (90 mg·L-1) was good to potassium, calcium, magnesium absorption. No significant couple effect of water and nitrogen to phosphorus absorption had been exhibited among various treatments. In conclusion, the irrigation regime under low-grade water deficit (60-75ml·Seeding-1)and the nitrogen concentration under mild level (180 mg·L-1) could be combined as the optimal irrigation and fertilization regime. 2. Settle different phosphorus levels treatments to the I.’Red Glow’.120 mg·L-1 of phosphorus concentration was good to root development, flowering and nitrogen, phosphorus absorption, but there was no significant differences among potassium, calcium, magnesium absorption.3. Settle different potassium levels treatments to the I. ’Red Glow’.100 mg·L-1 of potassium concentration obviously accelerated growth of roots, dry weight and absorption of potassium. When potassium concentration<100 mg·L-1,it was good to nitrogen absorption, while potassium concentration > 100 mg·L-1, nitrogen absorption was restrained. |
