Drought and land barren limit the growth and development of plants. It is bad for the revegetation in the poor soil. Super absorbent polymers can keep the soil moisture effectively.Fertilizer can provide nutrients for the growth of plants. However,if they have a inappropriate collocation of dosage,it will not only reduce the water absorbability of the super absorbent polymers, but also reduce the effectiveness of manorial. In order to find a appropriate proportion which can make the super absorbent polymers and fertilizer promote each other, author conduct a experimental rearch. This was an orthogonal experiment which had four factors and four levels.Author selected Gleditsia sinensis,Prunus armeniaca,Prunus sibirica, cuttings of Populus tomentosa as potted plants and reached four factors of composite materials, dosage of composite materials, roots dip and varieties of trees in four levels whether to promote the growth of plants or not.The composite materials included different proportion of super absorbent polymers, polyaspartic acid, rare earth and fertilizer. The results showed the following conclusion:(1)In droughty environment, trees were the most significant factors to the influence of plants’growth. Composite materials and dosage of composite materials were significant factors to the influence of plants’growth. Using20g composite materials A1and dipping roots with mixture solution of12.5mg/L IBA and25mg/L NAA before potting could have best effect to promote the growth of Prunus sibirica. Composite materials A1was a mixture of super absorbent polymers, polyaspartic acid, rare earth and fertilizer as the proportion of5:5:1:5.(2) Composite materials, dosage of composite materials, roots dip and trees were significant factors to the influence of plants’physical signs. Using15g composite materials A3and dipping roots with mixture solution of50mg/L IBA and100mg/L NAA before potting could have best effect to improve the physiological function of cuttings of Populus tomentosa. Composite materials A3was a mixture of super absorbent polymers, polyaspartic acid, rare earth and fertilizer as the proportion of10:1:2:5.(3) Using20g composite materials A3and dipping roots with mixture solution of12.5mg/L IBA and25mg/L NAA before potting could have best effect to promote the roots’growth of Gleditsia sinensis. Composite materials A3was a mixture of super absorbent polymers, polyaspartic acid, rare earth and fertilizer as the proportion of10:1:2:5.
