The urban forest is the main part of the urban ecosystem, affect the sustainable development of cities, therefore, it is important to improve the effective management of the urban forest and accurate ecological benefits assessment then the urban ecosystem will improve, and to achieve the most suitable for human habitation standard plays a vital role. This is the purpose of this system development. The combination of WebGIS and urban forest ecological benefits assessment will also play its distributed management advantages, to provide users with a variety of information services based on the spatial distribution, improve resource utilization and sharing. Also improve the efficiency of the urban forest ecological benefit assessment and the reliability of the results of the assessment. The research contents include the following four aspects.(A) Analyzed the theory and the development of urban forestry ecological benefit evaluation, summarized the evaluation algorithm, and modeled the algorithm model of civil urban forestry’s characteristic. Model comleted to calculate the urban forest carbon storage and the amount of carbon sequerstration, oxygen release and heat absorption. And quantify their esconmic value.(B) Analyzed the demand of the system in depth, designed the functional model based on demand analysis, and drafted the principal of system designing and development technical route, establish a remote database system and remote server architecture.Built the ecological benefit evaluation system based on the frame diagram of the system function, and the system building principal, and the algorithm model. The system was built with Java, and the distributed WebGIS system structure.(C) Establishment of a database system. The database was organized by Geodatabase special database model, and using ArcSDE to manage and store the attribute data and special data. Converted the formal satellite remote sensing image of primary Dong Cheng District, using the ArcMap based on the original data of the Dong Cheng District to vector, and designed the vector diagram of the Dong Cheng District.(E) With the application of the self-developed urban forest ecological benefit assessment system, the forest ecological benefit of the Dong Cheng district in Beijing was evaluated. Through harvesting six representative samples among street trees, including fraxinus, ginkgo tree, cypress, willow and Chinese white poplar, the four ecological index of the Dong Cheng district, which involved urban forest carbon storage, Carbon sealing stock, Oxygen release quantity and heat absorption were analyzed. Additionally, its quantitative economic value was estimated. |
