Along with the increasing of labor force and the exacerbating of environment, the need for resource of rolling country and forest became more and more intensity. The mountain monorail car is developed for this situation. The present design is more concerned about the stability and safety other than efficiency. In this case, the facility became too heavy. In order to reducing the weight of facility, achieve lightweight, this paper apply FEM to analysis the monorail way system of mountain monorail car and optimize the monorail way system under the premise of safety and stability.This paper takes the BSR-1monorail car which was developed by BJFU as research object; briefly introduce working theory and whole mechanical design of monorail car and monorail way system, analysis calculative model and finite element. By comparing two results, confirm the accuracy of finite element model. Through execute the optimization program; find out results of reducing18.7%weight in considering initial design and50%decrease with a brand new design.The innovations have:firstly use FEM to analysis monorail way system, and achieve lightweight; firstly apply APDL to optimize monorail way system, and ease to apply in project; use calculation result, fern result, and experiment data to triple contrast in order to prove the accuracy of final result; apply FEM set nonlinear material to analysis pile-soil model, reduce a mount of calculations, prove the stability of foundation.
