Bama miniature pigs are mainly distributed in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Bama Yao Autonomous County, it is China’s unique quality of miniature pig resource.Its size is small, the stability of the genetic performance, and it’s similar to the people in terms of anatormy, physiology, nutrition and metabolism, which is the most suitable for xenograft donor, but not for the research of the laboratory animal.At present, The background information of Bama miniature pig is relatively lacked, performance measurement has not the system, the original datas to accumulate are not enough, which are affecting the population urbanization and its laboratory animal in biomedical and agricultural research on a wide range of applications.OBJECTIVE:It is the foundation of laboratory animal genetic and breeding to measure roundly the performance,and it is the most basic basis of genetic assessment on laboratory animal.This study aimed at the problem that the relatively lacked background information of Bama miniature pig, performance measurement unentirely and the original data to accumulate unenough, it is completely measured the growth and reproductive performance of Bama miniature pig, which promote the process of laboratory animalization on Bama miniature pig and provide basic data for a wide range of applications on the biomedical and agricultural research.METHODS:In this study, growth and reproductive performance of Bama miniature pig, which were raised under laboratory animalization conditions, were observed. Assay and analysis of phenotypic correlations of reproductive and growth performance of number litter size,number born alive,litter birth weight,average birth weight,litter weight at weaning,average weight at 10d,30d,60d,3month and body length,withers height,chest girth,abdominal circumference,tuba circumference of birth,30d,60d,3month; According to the different types of Bama miniature pig litter size is respectively divided into 7 groups, less than or equal to 5,6,7,8,9,10 and more than or equal to 11, which is from birth to and 60d weight was significant, while post differences comparison measured on the weight and body measurement of birth, 10d, 30d and 60d between Bama miniature boar and sow.This experiment assay and farther clear the routine index of the sperm Bama miniature pig, including ejaculation,spermatozoon density,pH,sperm live rate,sperm resistance index,rate of teratosperm and between the correctionRESULTS:1.As the Bama miniature pig, estrous cycle of the sow is 21.32±0.64d,pregnancy time is114.13±2.03d,weaning age is 41.08±1.65d,fossa spacing isl62.34±11.10d,annual litter is2.26±0.14, the number of birth litter is 7.72±2.59,the number birth alive is 7.53±2.64,the number of litter birth weight is 4.472±1.767kg, the number of average birth,10d,30d,60d and 3month weight are respectively 0.600±0.156kg,1.490±0.605kg,3.024±0.874kg,4.615±1.430kg,7.780±1.811kg,and litter weight at weaning is 20.752±7.342kg. It is showed extremely significantly different (p<0.001)among the 7 groups of different types of Bama miniature pig litter in the birth,30d and 60d,respectively,which reflect the Bama miniature pig litter type has significant effects on birth weight,30d and 60d.The phenotypic correlations between litter size and number born alive,average weight at 10d, between number born alive,average weight at 10d,between average birth weight,average weight at 60d and average weight at 3month are strongly positive (p<0.01), Weaning weight of litter and other indicators showed significant negative correlation (P<0 .01).2.The ejaculation volume spermatozoon density, pH, sperm live rate, sperm resistance index, rate of teratosperm of Bama miniature pig are respectively 65.15±30.08ml,66.15%±22.30%, 0.51±0.50billion/mL,8.23±0.40,361.46±155.14,8.30%±5.05%.The correction between the ejaculation volume,sperm live rate and sperm pH are strongly negative (p<0.01), the correlations are-0.714,-0.358. It is suggested the boar ejaculate volume effect the semen pH value, while pH value on effect sperm live rate is more obvious. Therefore, to some extent, the pH value changes can reflect the change of semen quality.3.The body length,withers height,chest girth,abdominal circumference and tuba circumference of the Bama miniature pig on birth are respectively 13.15±2.18cm,19.28±3.19cm,20.42±3.57cm, 19.28±3.86cm,4.83±0.62cm;The body length,withers height,chest girth,abdominal circumference,tuba circumference of the Bama miniature pig on 10d are respectively 13.15±2.18cm,19.28±3.19cm, 20.412±3.57cm,19.28±3.86cm,4.83±0.62cm;The body length,withers height,chest girth, abdominal circumference, tuba circumference of the Bama miniature pig on 30d are respectively 20.38±3.50cm, 32.01±4.51cm,31.31±3.61cm,31.43±4.01cm,6.43±1.74cm; The body length,withers height,chest girth, abdominal circumference,tuba circumference of the Bama miniature pig 60d are respectively 23.62±3.05cm,38.98±5.17cm,35.72±4.59cm,37.48±4.98cm,7.32±2.40cm;The body length,withers height, chest girth,abdominal circumference,tuba circumference of the Bama miniature pig on 3month are respectively 26.03±6.05cm,50.59±5.89cm,44.37±5.61cm,45.20±4.88cm,8.12±0.76cm.4.Birth weight and neonatal body height, primary tube, primary head length and primary body length, chest, abdominal circumference, body height and body length of the primary tube, were significantly correlated (<0.01), birth weight and birth head length, head circumference birth, born with birth body height, tube primary body, high and primary bust, abdomen, chest tube primary and primary, primary abdominal circumference and the tube had a significantly negative correlation (p<0.01),.Birth weight,30d, 60d weight respectively corresponding to the body height, body length, chest circumference, waist circumference and cannon circumference were significantly correlated (p<0.01),.But these reproduction and growth traits in common, with no difference between dam. When compare the significant of the reproductive and growth performance between Bama miniature boar and sow, results suggest:it is extremely significantly different (p<0.01) in birth abdominal circumference, head length of 10d, withers height and body length of 30d, abdominal circumference of 30d,tuba circumference of 30d and 60d, withers height of 60d between Bama miniature boar and sow, excepting for the tube is not significant difference, other traits is significantly different (p<0.01) in March age, while the birth tube and 60d bust is different (p<0.05) between Bama miniature boar and sow, it’s no significant difference in other characters between Bama miniature boar and sow. |
