Studies On Polymorphism Of MC1R Gene In Four Yak Breeds

To explore Genetic polymorphisms of MC1R gene in yaks by PCR-SSCPtechnique,408yaks were selected which include Qinghai Highland yak,Gannanyak,Tianzhu White yak and Datong yak. The sequencing result showed that there werea base transformarion of C�'A at the3589th bp, a base transformarion of T�'C atthe3624th bp, a base transformarion of A�'C at the3804th bp, a base transformarionof C�'G at the3891th bp, a base transformarion of C�'T at the3912th bp and a basetransformarion of G�'A at the4120th bp contrasting with the AF445641.1of cattle inMCIR gene of yak.Three genotypes AA,BB and AB were detected in P2gene and Thedvantage genotypes was AA in four breeds. Six genotypes CC,DD,EE,CD,CE and DEwere detected in P3gene.The genotypes CD,CE and DE were Advantage genotypes inQinghai Highland yak and Datong yak,the Genotype frequency were0.778and0.781.The genotypes DD and CD were Advantage genotypes in Gannan yak, theGenotype frequency were0.351and0.328.The Advantage genotypes in Tianzhu Whiteyak was DD and the Genotype frequency was0.500. there were Three genotypesFF,GG and FG were detected in P2gene and The dvantage genotypes was FG in fourbreeds. The Genotype frequency was1.000of FF in Tianzhu White yak, QinghaiHighland yaks’ were0.833, Gannan yaks’was0.586and Datong yaks’ was0.745.Thepolymorphisms information contents were moderate polymorphisms (0.25<PIC<0.5)of P2gene in four breeds. In P2gene,the Gannan yak and Tianzhu White yaks’polymorphisms information contents were moderate polymorphisms(0.25<PIC<0.5),others were in high polymorphisms. The polymorphisms informationcontents were moderate polymorphisms (0.25<PIC<0.5) of P4gene in four breeds.
