On the basis of summarizing various deployment and locking mechanisms of space deployable mast at home and abroad, and combined with its application characteristics in different mechanisms, scissor space deployable mast and its simulation test devices are researched, providing a foundation for next-step research or engineering application.Based on the design principles of superior stiffness, high packaging efficiency, high deployment reliability and good stability, several design schemes of scissor space deployable mast are proposed, Determining that the scissor space deployable mast is composing scissor unit, the top support agencies, the longitudinal support agencies, the drive mechanism and vertical locking mechanism, using Screw theory to prove scissor unit folded Exhibition stability.According to the technical parameters of scissor space deployable mast, overall structure and key components are designed and validated while the drive contour line design is emphasized. With single power source for the design criteria, the driving-cam and the longitudinal-locking-cam linkage design method are proposed. Advantages and disadvantages comparing with the motion of the follower, five-polynomial-motion-law is used for designing the driving-cam and the-longitudinal-locking cam, and accounting of the cam pressure angle and other parameters. Three-dimensional modeling is achieved, and static and dynamic interference is checked.In accordance with structural features of scissor space deployable mast, several performance parameters are presented. In order to reduce the simulation difficulty and improve simulation authenticity, a type of scissor space deployable mast is modeled and simulated and motion curves of the key components are obtained. At last, a set of scissor space deployable mast simulation devices are manufactured and its main properties are measured and analyzed. |
