The rotating machinery is the important equipment in the industry of petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, electric power and Machinery. It is extremely important to make reliable and accurate fault diagnosis and evaluation. Currently, the maintenance mode develops from the traditional fault repair and planned maintenance to status maintenance based on the equipment operating status. However, the state evaluation technology stays in using fewer or a single indicator parameter, so that both of them can not accurately evaluate the equipment operating status. Sometimes due to the use of the one-sided device status information, this causes to make wrong judgment. Therefore, based on the data fusion theory, this article selects spectrum bands vibration intensity for the state evaluation, combined with the current state-of-the-art information fusion technology-vector spectrum technology, extracts accurate and comprehensive equipment vibration information. Then, uses the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to effectively process the information, and makes reliable and accurate evaluation of the operational status of the equipment, and then classifies operational status of equipment. The main contents are as follows:1. Studies several typical of rotating machinery faults, and analyses various failure mechanism and gives a brief summary of the performance characteristics of each failure, which plays a role in guiding the evaluation of the state in the theory.2. Studies how to determine indicators of device status evaluation, and settings of the index threshold, and describes the characteristics of several state evaluation models and the differences, and their application of occasions. This article selects evaluation indicator-vibration intensity and its calculation method, and how to set the spectrum bands.3. Introduces the basic principles of the full vector spectrum technology and its numerical algorithm. Integrates with the vibration intensity of the band, and proposes the full vector spectrum band for fault diagnosis method. Uses fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, process the full vector band of vibration intensity value with the membership function as a comprehensive evaluation of the input vector, establishes an identifier of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation based on Vector band and experimentally verify the fault diagnosis with this method accurately and uniquely. And then divides the device status by the maximum degree of value.
