The ways to analyze dynamic stability problem of rock slope can be classified as pseudo-static methods and numerical simulation methods. Pseudo-static methods regardless of the theoretical system or in specific applications are mature, but it itself there are more obvious defects, has gradually been recognized.Numerical simulation method in recent years gradually become slope dynamic response analysis principal Method, especially after the Wenchuan earthquake, many scholars have applied numerical simulation method to study the actual slope, and already have some results. In this article, we analyze the factors especially from the aspects of slope characteristics (slope height, slope angle, rock character), the type of seismic wave and the seismic wave frequency that would affect the accelerated magnification factors of slope under seismic loads. Then, we analyze and summarize the procedure to product on CDEM analysis and the ways of solving dynamic equation problems. Afterward, we discuss accelerated magnification factors using CDEM, much more important is the fitting (using MATLAB)of the approximate calculation formula of the slope under seismic load, and the validation of formula. The paper studies the dynamic response of slope under various conditions and gets the results as follows:(1) Vibration effect of slope is influenced more by the frequency of seismic wave. When the frequency of seismic wave is significantly less than the predominant period of the slope, accelerated magnification factors of slope is very small; When the frequency of seismic wave is close or equal to the predominant period of the slope, accelerated magnification factors of slope is maximum.(2) Before the seismic wave frequency reach the predominant frequency of slope, the accelerated magnification factors of slope increases with the increase of slope height and the slope angle.(3) No matter what kind of seismic wave, accelerated magnification factors of the soft rock is greater than that of hard rock; No matter what kind of rock mass, accelerated magnification factors of the Wenchuan earthquake waves is greater than that of sinusoidal seismic waves.(4) In this paper, we verify the approximate calculation formula by numerical calculation, compare with the norm, and find that the formula is close to the standard calculation.
